The description of Gorochu really sounds like a more aggresive or primal thing... basically a wilder chu.

It sounds very out of character for something like Pikachu

The title for that article and the picture made for it are really click baity. It really doesn't sound that horrifying. It does sound more aggressive, but it would have most likely still looked traditionally cute. I doubt that they would have had Pikachu fully evolve into something too scary given it is their mascot. It would have been interesting to see an actual sketch of the design though.

I also second the design in the image being true, although the concept I think could have worked, maybe one day they will do a concept similar.
