I know now a days Nick isn't directly animating shows. Spngebob and Avatar were/are animated in Korea, Penguins at Dreamworks studios. (Where is FOP and Barnyard and Mighty B animated?) Why don't they have animators anymore under their paychecks? Rugrats and all other early shows were animated in Orlando (when did that studios close? Theres no point for me to go to Universal for vacation now).

I think shows can be made better if they are under supervision by the director and writer. It will also bring about a plethera of cartoons, just like it was when I was growing up. So....yeah...discuss...

They still have the studio in California and I think that's where the series you mentioned are animated. Penguins was animated at Dream Works because it's a spin off of their movie.

My point is that why close the Orlando studio? You have Universal right next to it...What a tourist attraction!!

I remember the fountain of slime spewing from their work grounds, how beautiful it was. Why has it stopped its immaculate green flow?

Just about all hand-drawn shows are outsourced to another country. Even the early shows such as "Rugrats" were outsourced. The animation was done at Wang Films (Taiwan) and later Anivision in Korea.

"Ren & Stimpy" were animated at various places, mostly Rough Draft in Korea (on both the Spumco and Games episodes). Some of the Spumco episodes were animated at Carbunkle in Canada, however.

Only one episode of "Rocko's Modern Life" was animated in America: Trash-O-Madness, which was the pilot (creator Joe Murray did half of the animation himself). Every other episodes were shipped to Sunwoo and later Rough Draft for the final season. Both studios are based in Korea.

No Nicktoon was ever produced in Orlando. ''Doug'', ''Rugrats'', ''Ren & Stimpy'' were produced at their respective studios (Jumbo Pictures, Klasky-Csupo, and Spumco) . 1997 is when Nick got its own animation studio in Burbank, and that is where most if not all Nicktoons have been produced since then (with some exceptions, for example ''Jimmy Neutron'', which was produced in Dallas, Texas by DNA Productions). Nickelodeon Studios was all about live-action and especially game show production. Nick closed the studio down in 2005 due to the fact that

1. Their live-action production was not as high as it was in the 1990's, especially when it came to game shows, which is what mainly came out of the studio during its heyday.

2. It was much easier to find talent in LA.

3. One of the studio's main draws, the studio tour, was removed in 2001 due to staffing cuts.

It's a very sad fact and I wish the studios had stayed open, as it was where much of my childhood shows were produced. I have always wanted to go there since the 1990's.

FOP is produced by Freederator Studios as well as DP, I don't know for Barnyard and Mighty B, Wayside was done mainly by Nelvana and Kappa Mikey by Animation Collective

Why is there still some Nick themed rides in Universal?

Man I just found this all out today. I now have no desire to go to Universal because all I wanted to see was the celebrated fountain of slime. I have noticed that Nick only does slime at KCAs. Too bad, I loved watching Slime Time Live.

Actually Danny Phantom was produced at Nick Animation Studios under Butch Hartman's unit Billionfold Inc.

Barnyard is produced by the same studio that produced Jimmy Neutron, O Entertainment, though Jimmy Neutron had its animation done at DNA Animation. I think Mighty B's done by Nick Animation Studios.

From what I've read, Tak and the Power of Juju was produced entirely in-house, including the animation.

Because the apparent attraction there now is the Blue Man Group, and I guess people are into that? *shrug*

That's honestly depressing, I remember being there when it was still standing... ;.;

Well, Amy Poehler one of the creaters of The Mighty B! said that she will still continue to produce, write, and voice the character Bessy in the Mighty B! I don't know when was this written but here's the link if you don't believe me and see for yourself: Bio: Amy Poehler as Leslie Knope

They used to have a New York animation studio which just shut down: Nickelodeon Digital Animation I think it was called... that's where a lot of their CGI stuff was produced.

Wasn't in NYC where the studios of Animation Collective (Kappa Mikey, Speed Racer: next-gen) is located as well?

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.

Hi, welcome to Toonzone

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
