Nickelodeon splits with Dan Schneider

Schneider's defense seems to be "Every single terrible parent and producer never raised any objections to his creepiness so as not to get fired, so that makes it all right." No, it just makes those enablers crappy adults who don't care about children, or want what is best for them.

I agree with the title of Jeanette McCurdy's Memoir. The rot may start at the top, but it goes all the way down. All the writers, producers, directors and yes, PARENTS are complicit. The kidcoms should be banned. They are a breeding ground for predators like Schneider, and they STILL have zero oversight to them, even after all this. It's sickening.

Lot of greedy moms and executives back then. He was making them so much money they considered the lawsuits from kids getting molested cost them less than they were making from him. Nickelodeon did a cost benefit analysis of child molestation and the raw numbers favored them turning a blind eye.

Still don't understand what the hell was wrong with the parents. They knew too. It's sickening.

That "mistaking a character's underwear as a pillowcase" joke is just awful, no matter how you slice it, and the "using a character's underwear as tissues".....the less said, the better.
