Mascot Ideas?

Ok, so at my high school every class has a different character as their mascot based on color: for example class of 08 has tinkerbell (green) and 07 has Sully from Monsters Inc. (blue). My class needs a "red" character, and right now everyone is leaning towards, like, ELMO. come on, i am not wearing a sweatshirt with ELMO on it. But i have no good ideas!!! Since I'm at an all girls skool I need a character girls will love but is cool with all of us.....any suggestions??

...Their band mascot is Spike Spiegel, who appears on homemade t-shirts with a conductor's baton in his hand where there would normally be a cigarette alongside a caption that reads, "3, 2, 1, let's jam!"
