The eligibility period for this was 6/1/23 to 5/31/24, and Season 6 (mostly) aired during that timeframe.

Children’s and Family Emmy Awards nominations.

Outstanding Short Form Animated Program
Daffy in Wackyland, HBO | Max [Warner Bros. Animation]

Outstanding Multiple Role Voice Performer in a Children’s or Young Teen Program
Eric Bauza as Daffy Duck & The Do-Do, Daffy in Wackyland, HBO | Max [Warner Bros. Animation]

The show is getting a Complete Series release on DVD.

On three discs, it is probably just the ones released and approved by HBO Max.

I don’t expect Dynamite Dance, Happy Birthday Bugs Bunny, the Tom and Jerry shorts, any of the shelved/banned shorts or a lost Droopy short to get a release on here.

It is likely just the 80+ packaged episodes, not all 209 shorts which I consider complete.

Home media marketers consider all the aired episodes of the TV series Looney Tunes Cartoons to be a complete series.

There's a good reason that the Tom and Jerry shorts won't be there, and that is because they're not affiliated with the title Looney Tunes Cartoons in any sense (and obviously they're too few to release separately).

This is, however, the final confirmation that no more material produced in that era will ever air (at least under the title Looney Tunes Cartoons), which is admittedly frustrating.

Too bad it's DVD only. Of course, Warner Bros. pretty much only releases the DC Comics and Adult Swim stuff on Blu-ray when it comes to newer cartoons...

This punchline gag from "Yuletide Taz" was removed from the final cut on HBO Max. Granny and Taz do not freeze frame as Taz begins to speak up.

I believe HBO Max probably wanted the gag deleted because it was not wholesome for a kids and family program.

Surprised they showed this uncensored. I think that when the DVD comes out, they'll present the segments differently than on streaming. The shorts featured on the Bugs Bunny 80th anniversary Blu-Ray played each short individually with their own closing credits.

Is any chances that Looney Tunes Cartoons is coming to Discovery Family to replacing MLP or Transformers as other Hasbro shows?

The unaired episodes might see the light of day after all.

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
