This is one of the most surprising shorts that ever came out of [adult swim]. (especially since it’s a crossover with other WBD shows) I honestly wish this becomes an actual series at some point.

Like….they already have shows featuring the entire Hanna-Barbera library in adult situations. Surely they could make one but with the entire CN library as well! (past and present)

Or maybe a callback to the AS Jr. stunt from April, who knows

It came out of nowhere, and I like the concept of this short.

Didn't anyone notice the backgrounds to both Rocko's Modern Life and SpongeBob SquarePants in the short?
Awesome find! I missed those on my first watch. Rocko's Modern Life at 1:54 and SpongeBob at 1:59.

krusty - what the hell was that?!.jpeg

But jokes aside, I give points for originality and for probably tackling the age-old question of "what would happen if the secondary, tertiary, and other forgotten cartoon characters are the only hope of saving the Cartoon Network omniverse?"

That said, I really don't think I'll be watching this because subverted kids' shows like this really freak me out to the point where I'm like "NOPE!"

So I'll be supporting this in the name of originality, albeit from afar. In a safe corner. Because I'm too scared.

That felt a lot more like a proof-of-concept mini-pilot than a short. More of a trailer than a story. They clearly have aspirations to make a show out of it (or at least some kind of miniseries). If Twitter right now is any indication, Pibby already has a hungry audience.

This kind of reminds me of that story I was making involving a bunch of characters from different properties crossed in with my OCs (The Monetization), liked the concept of the digital glitch.

I like it!!! fun concept, albeit a bit spooky one at that :flushed:

It was a great short. It becomes even more interesting when you find out the creator of this previously worked on Sanjay and Craig and Pinky Malinky. Though, he did start his career as an intern for SpongeBob, so it made sense for that reference of his restroom.

Honestly, I never thought much of it when I saw the thumbnail, but I decided 'why not check it out' anyway.

This is....a very interesting short. But, it's not something that I would crazy for since 1) I'm not a fan of crossovers that much (unless its CCF and OK KO) and 2) I'm not a fan of Adult Swim. Their programming just never really appeal to me (which is rich coming from who is a 22 year old adult).

Good for the people who actually did get a kick out of it, but for me, even if does get picked up for a show or a special, I'm not interested in watching it. Just not mah thang. (shrugs)

If this gets made into a show AT ALL, Adult Swim better NOT turn their backs on it even once! They better give it a good beginning, middle, and proper end!! No more wussing about - stand behind something and support it to the end properly for once.

Oh, and replace Teenage Euthanasia with THIS, again - should this be made into a show AT ALL, which it should honestly be, IMHO. Teenage Euthanasia is unfortunately trash and anything could stand to easily replace such a sad and embarrassing excuse of a show, at the end of the day.

Last night started watching a new adult animated series, a Netflix original that is basically the succesor to Big Mouth.

What is so great? Despite being a 18+ show, they actually bothered to give it a Romanian dub :ack::eek:
