Kingdom Hearts 4 In Development?!

I know this may come as a shock, but last month, Nvidia has leaked a massive lineup of video games. One of them was Kingdom Hearts 4. If this is true, we might end up seeing it confirmed at the Game Awards in December. My potential worlds for the fourth game would be worlds from Marvel and Star Wars. Maybe one from Avatar and the Simpsons. And Bolt, the Incredibles and the Princess and Frog. They said in a interview they were looking at all of Disney for future instalments, not just Disney and Pixar, although he said they would be hard to add.

not gonna happen, disney didn't own South Park (although fox almost made South Park but fox rejected it because of mr hankey)

I wouldn't be surprised if it is true. Kingdom Hearts is a popular series and they are gearing up for a 20th anniversary celebration, so having a new game would make sense. There would be quite a bit of speculation on what Disney worlds it would have too.

Uh pretty sure grumix8 was making a joke about the idea of having another Kingdom Hearts game, especially with how long it took between Kingdom hearts 2 and 3 and how 3 ended.

I admit though I was against the idea feeling the series went through it's full plot I did think of something that... okay going to put this in spoiler tags for if for some reason you never knew about the ending of the series.

Okay in KH3 Sora essentially sacrifices his body to save Kairi with his essence pretty much remaining in "The Final World" which yeah we have seen him pop up again in DLC games but those still end with him in said "Final World." Which then made me think "you know if they want to tie this into doing more but not only other Disney worlds what if the start of KH4 is Sora in the Final World which winds up with him going into the world of Soul and meeting up with Joe and Number 23 and at the end Sora winds up being given his own new lease on life but that puts him somewhere far away and he has to go through an entire journey just to get back to his friends.

If the team went through with a variation of that, I could see them actually doing KH4. I would assume we would also get Marvel and Star Wars levels (I doubt Avatar and The Simpsons. The later does not fit and the former is likely too guarded by James Cameron to really touch) which have a lot of potential for good meet ups on their own but eh let those more versed in KH then me think of which would be the best fit for this series.

I don't disagree. Marvel and Star Wars would be perfect for KH4. Although, Avatar and the Simpsons would be trickier because I think maybe they can change the characters to fit the latter's art style and cartoonish adult humour and the former would have to get James Cameron's approval to use. Maybe a Futurama world would be unique too. I'm sure Matt Groening wouldn't mind Square Enix using both worlds.

I'll be honest but I can't foresee The Simpsons becoming part of Kingdom Hearts at all.
