JoJo's Bizarre News and Discussion Thread

Which makes it more impressive that David Pro decided to make the dance sequence more elaborate than it's supposed to be. Of course I'm not complaining.
It really shows how animated adaption can not only replicate great moments but also enhance

Everyone here is talking about that cool dance sequence. And I'm over here laughing my butt off at Guido Mista's stand. Dude puts the mission on hold to feed his little unruly stand guys. And he's scolding them like they're his kids. I honestly had to pause the video because I couldn't stop laughing for a full minute.

I also liked how Giorno was in awe of Mista feeding his stand. He probably was thinking, "Oh shoot, do I have to feed mine, too?"

It looks like we have a new meme (or rather a manga meme getting even bigger with the anime adaptation). Let's see how many part 5's anime creates or enhances.

Not sure if anyone else is still keeping up with Part 5, but this week's episode debuted a new OP and ED.

The new OP is "Traitor's Requiem" by Daisuke Hasegawa
(Warning: Contains spoilers)

And the new ED is "Modern Crusaders" by Enigma

There is a talkback thread for it, but it's almost dead with the dance number being the last thing to draw discussion.

Yes, that's the thread we're posting in right now.

I'm just going to say it but Part 5 has the weakest musical track, I'm not a fan of Fighting Gold or Traitor's Requiem and I'm beyond mad they replaced Freek N You

Okay, I definitely remember wrong. I remember it being a separate thread. On the topic of the ending theme, I found Enigma a weird choice as JoJo usually does mainstream Western pop or rock music. Considering the 2001 setting, I wonder how having early 00s rock bands would have gone considering that Linkin Park, Creed, Nickelback, Limp Bizkit, et al's era as the top bands make that period the most divisive in rock history.

Eeeh I still prefer Fighting Gold to Traitor's Requiem. But then again, I didn't like Fighting Gold when I first heard it, so who knows, maybe it'll grow on me. I'm still mad about Freek'n You being replaced though. It was a great source of ironic humor.

Well keep in mind the Part 4-6 were written before their previous years.

The manga was 1995-1999, so Foo Fighters, Korn, Britney Spears, Los Del Rio, Vengaboys, Coolio (Gangsta's Paradise for second ending is probably what was wanted)? Lots of good and not so good choices for late 90s pop or rock tunes.

I'm still laughing at the fact that they changed Green Day and Oasis to Green Tea and Sanctuary. At least in the former's case, it still kinda makes sense because there's only a one kana difference between Green Day (グリーン・ィ) and Green Tea (グリーン・ィ).

Also, where did everybody go?

Oh and I just wanna add, seeing Cioccolata's beatdown in this week's episode was SO satisfying. It was the most intense "muda" in the manga, going on for SEVEN FULL PAGES, and David Pro did a wonderful job adapting it into animation.

Yeah it kinda feels like this site is starting to have people lose interest in it.

It's the longest beat down in the manga, with the second longest being Jotaro punching Steely Dan.

Don't forget the "WRYYYYYY!!!" halfway through.

Too bad. We're just getting to the good stuff.

Yeah that made the scene even better. Kenshou Ono really nailed that "WRYYYYYY!!!".

I was referring to people loosing interest in the site itself, this forum is way less active than other similar forums(SpaceBattles, Sufficient velocity for example)

But even then it's not like the forum has become a barren wasteland, certainly not as much as this thread has as of late.
