I just noticed in this one episode of Animaniacs, there was a hidden joke that I didnt get until later.
The episode is "Rest in Pieces" with Skippy and Slappy, basically the episode was about Walter Wolf dying.
Anyways. In the early part of the episode, Walter was being carried in by Sid and Beany then dropped. He reveals he is not dead but faking it. Anyways, just right before that scene it shows the hotel they are in "Hotel California", hahaha, Also thats a name of a older song!! The song was about a haunted hotel, I believe.
I know there were a lot of old gags, but if you know of any more please feel free to post! I specifically chose that one because I didnt notice it until the 4th time watching it!

Yes, Hotel California by The Eagles was about death sorta. More like the afterlife. The hotel wasn't haunted, it was just a perminant place you went to the afterlife. "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave"

HOWEVER, if you ever go to Italy, there is a chain of hotels called Hotel California. I never stayed at one. Just the idea of it scared me.

"... but you can never leave!" Dah-dah-dah! Bwa-dah-dah-DAH, dah-dah dah, dut dut dut dut dwa duh-da-da da da (boom boom, ba-boom) Dah dah dut da dah dah dah dah da-AH da dah da dah dut da...

Yes, it is about the music industry... but pretty much anything alluring thing that entraps you would work.

Back to the original topic,I think I found a 'Hidden Joke' right here in the Logo of this forum(Yeah, just scroll up this page to the top to see the logo)
So anyway, this must be really stupid and crazy idea, but here goes :

You know that Wakko is usually the one with his tongue out (so are Yakko and Dot sometimes, but not as much as Wakko)
So in the logo it's the opposite- Yakko and Dot are sticking their tongues in 'purpose'(not like Wakko who has it all natural :D )...and-Wakko in the logo is the only one who's not sticking his tongue out!
Also,it really looks like he's making an effort-look at his cheeks, they're about to explode! :D (yeah,it looks like there's not enough room for his tongue inside :D )

Actually, Hotel California is about the Church of Satan on California street in San Francisco. If you open up the original vinyl album, you can see Anton Lavey up on top.

Insane Cultist's post disproves that.

Getting back on topic...

When I was young, an Animaniacs episode called 'Yes, Always' really confused me. Now I realize that its making fun of the voice-over process and its most likely just a big in joke that only an Animaniacs staff member can fully understand

Actually, it's based on an actual voice-over session that Orson Welles did once. Orson, of course, was the inspiration for the Brain's voice. :brain:
