Greatest Actor Ever!

1. Michael Keaton- He's one of my favorite actors. If you watch his dramatic stuff like Clean & Sober and One Good Cop, you see he can act. His voice work is great too.
2. Halle Berry- A good actress, but not as good as she probably could be.
3. Kevin Conroy- He's BATMAN alright.
4. Paul Dooley- Wimpy in Popeye. He's pretty good in other stuff, but just not that noticeable.

1. Greg Kinnear- I remember him from his Talk Show days. He's really good at acting, need to see Kennedys.
2. Bette Midler- She's actually a good actress. She's similar to Streisand in that she's a performer in song, dance, and film.

3. Clancy Brown- Besides his classic voice work he was in Highlander, Shawshank Redemption, Buckaroo Banzai, and had a stint on E.R. I need to see Carnivale.
4. Fred Astaire- I was never a big fan of his stuff.

1. Michael Keaton: has the greatest range and versatility of the actors in this match, plus, he was flippin BATMAN
2. Halle Berry: very talente and versatile too, but her Catwoman was awful. still great enough to move on through
3. Conroy: yes, he voiced Batman, but Voice Acting and Acting are different things entirely. i'm still not sure voice actors should have even been here.
4. Dooley: dunno

1. Fred Astaire: duh
2. Midler: pretty famous
3. Kinnear: same as previous
4. Brown: what i said about voice actors remains in effect here

Well, both Clancy Brown and Kevin Conroy did live-action. Clancy Brown was actually in The Shawshank Redemption.

you should have picked a picture i could have recognized him from. i actually liked his character too. well, put him 2nd then and move the other two down. i've never seen anything with Conroy though, so i can only vote on what i know

I pick the most recent picture for all candidates. Usually...okay I pick whatever Wikipedia has. I'm lazy like that.

Also...I just found Ben Stiller as a double. So I'm putting Joe E. Brown in as a replacement. It's got to be him or Elizabeth Banks, but she'll just have to wait until we find another double.

Fancy that, I found a James Spader double! Unfortunately Elizabeth is doomed.

1. Michael Keaton - I've never seen the old Batmans but I love his recent vocal work.
2. Paul Dooley - I've seen a few movies of his.
3. Halle Berry - I know her better than...
4. Kevin Conroy - Him.

1. Clancy Brown - He's Mr. Krabs and Long Feng. That's some good range.
2. Fred Astaire - I enjoy those old Christmas specials.
3. Greg Kinnear - Only know him from Robots.
4. Bette Midler - Haven't seen any of her work.

Match 7
Kevin Conroy
Michael Keaton
Halle Berry
Paul Dooley

Match 8
Clancy Brown :anime:
Greg Kinnear
Fred Astaire
Bette Midler

I'll go with this.

I mean, yeah, voice acting is different from body acting, but it's still acting.... Just because you don't need to turn anorexic doesn't mean it isn't legitimate.

1. Keaton (Because I really need to see that movie.)
2. Conroy (Yeah, he's actually a pretty damn good Batman.)
3. Berry (Meh....)
4. Dooley (Don't know him.)

1. Brown (The only one I really know that well.)
2. Astaire (I actually haven't seen any of his movies, but he's too big a name to go down now.)
3. Kinnear (Wait, he was in Little Miss Sunshine?)
4. Midler (Don't know her.)

Also, I'll tiebreak for Daniel Day-Lewis. 'Cause I keep getting hounded for having not seen his movies and I've never heard of the other guy.

...A bit delayed, but, eh, I'll count it since it a mega-tiebreaker round in this contest would be amazingly over the top and I don't know if I could do it.

So I found two Kevin Smiths and two Uma Thurmans. I replaced one of the Uma Thurmans with Jason Marsden, but I'll have to think over the Kevin Smith replacement. Any suggestions?

I know Marsden was brought up in the nomination pages, but I didn't bother to look for him.

Michael Keaton- 19
Kevin Conroy- 11
Halle Berry- 10
Paul Dooley- 2

In an early upset, the Batmans defeat Catwoman! That said, I just learned Robert Altman directed Popeye...huh.

Clancy Brown- 15
Fred Astaire- 13
Greg Kinnear- 9
Bette Midler- 5

Brown and Astaire move on! Too bad for Kinnear though.

In this round of the eyes,

....the shining star of the 70's and 80's...

Shelley Duvall
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001167/

...Alan Rickman...

Alan Rickman
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000614/

...he apparently acts...

Tunde Adebimpe
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0011758/

...and OHMIGOSH it's this guy!

Wallace Shawn
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001728/

In a less exciting match,

...oh, she could have been in the above match...

Bette Davis
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000012/

...we didn't nominate Chong I think...

Cheech Marin
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001507/

...hey, this guy was the Sheriff...

Peter Finch
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002075/

...and a Taiwanese actor.

Brigitte Lin

1. Shelley Duvall
2. Alan Rickman
3. Tunde Adebimpe
4. Wallace Shawn

1. Bette Davis
2. Cheech Marin
3. Peter Finch
4. Brigitte Lee

1. Wallace Shawn- When I was younger, I loved this guy on Teacher's Pet. That's just the tip of the iceberg from The Princess Bride to Toy Story.
2. Alan Rickman- Shouldn't...need...the...help.
3. Tunde Adebimpe- Look, I'm not saying that when I saw his name, I knew this competition needed to be expanded, but...
4. Shelley Duvall- Threat, but good. Would have been higer till I realized who Wallace Shawn was.

1. Bette Davis- No one in this match holds a candle to him.
2. Peter Finch- I always wanted to see Walt Disney's 1952 take on Robin Hood.
3. Cheech Marin- I've heard of him.
4. ???- Who...who is this? I can only find the Taiwanese actor on Wikipedia and IMDB only has the porn star, who also seems to be the only one on the internet. Who nominated...her?

Match 9
Wallace Shawn :anime:
Tunde Adebimpe
Alan Rickman
Shelley Duvall

Match 10
Cheech Marin :anime:
Peter Finch
Bette Davis
Brigitte Lee

1. Alan Rickman- Easy enough. I have yet to see some of his non-villainous roles, but I hear he's still awesome.
2. Shelley Duvall- I hear Kubrick really tortured her. She is very pretty and intelligent and probably comes off as a pushover, but she created the great Fairy Tale Theater series, so. . .
3. Wallace Shawn- Funny guy.
4. Tunde Adebimpe- I actually nommed him, cause he is good in Rachel's Wedding and he's a good musician in TV on The Radio.

1. Bette Davis- In the dictionary, her face is next to the definition of actress.
2. Brigitte Lin- If you're not into Hong Kong cinema, you'd never know her. But she is actually on the level of Meryl Streep over there in acting.
3. Cheech Marin- Yeah, great comedian. He gets credit for some serious roles I've seen him on TV like Judging Amy and Nash Bridges.
4. Peter Finch- Other than Network, I don't know.

2. Brigitte Lin- If you're not into Hong Kong cinema, you'd never know her. But she is actually on the level of Meryl Streep over there in acting.

Alright, so I linked to the right one. How come she doesn't have an IMDB page or any pictures on the Internet?

Scratch that last one...and actually scratch the first one. This is Joseph Norton all over again.

1. Alan Rickman (No, DUH! He's awesome!)
2. Shelley Duvall (I hear Kubrick really tortured everyone. And beat them at chess. Also, that movie is why I'm awake right now. And I saw it two weeks ago.)
3. Wallace Shawn (Why not?)
4. Tunde Adebimpe (Don't know.)

1. Peter Finch (He needs the help? That does it! I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!)
2. Bette Davis (Yes, but I haven't seen her movies.)
3. Brigitte Lin (Loses points for being a threat to Meryl Streep.)
4. Cheech Marin (Don't know.)

I have another theory as for why Johnny Bravo is neglected by CN nowadays. Putting aside the basic concept, it's the retools that made the show chaotic.
