Nick@Nite aired The Office for only four months back in 2019 and aired at 10pm hour slot. But Freeform aired almost two years.

Comedy Centra's airing The Officel seems to do better in ratings and airing nowdays though

At today's Television Critics Association winter press tour for the ABC networks, President of Disney Television Group Craig Erwich spoke about the future of Freeform. Erwich sees the channel as very dedicated to the young female audience that it serves and knows that they watch television in different places, and also noted that most of the viewing of Freeform shows happens on Hulu.
Erwich also touted a slate of unscripted fare such as the recently premiered Chrissy & Dave Dine Out and the upcoming Royal Rules of Ohio.

So to put it, Freeform is still going to serve that audience demographic, just in a variety of methods (examples being the 31 Days of Halloween and 25 Days Christmas programming blocks. Erwich also noted that over half of the top-rated movies on cable in December were broadcast on the channel).

I've noticed that Freeform has cut back how much Simpsons they air to Thursday and Friday nights Midnight to 2AMET , with Boy Meets World airing Monday-Wednesday Nights in that slot. Boy Meets World still airs weekdays in daytime , especially to fill in the awkward 10:30am post Gordon Robertson slot. Freeform did cut the late Simpsons slot before then returned, we'll see how long this time lasts.

Family Guy will kick-out from Freeform's schedule on 26th April, the "Family Guy Fridays" block is moving to FX from 3th May.



Looks like Freeform is slowly phasing out adult animation and I have the feeling that the network will not move forward with two original adult cartoons (Wallflower and SupaShawty Girls).

"For the entire month of June, Freeform is celebrating all-things Disney with the “30 Days of Disney” programming event. Included are a wide variety of Disney animated and live-action films, Pixar films, some Disney Channel Original Movies, and movies brought into the Disney fold thanks to the acquisition of 20th Century Fox.

During the event, the network will feature the television debut of Lightyear, plus the network premiere of Soul, the classic Fantasia, plus many other movies on the channel for the very first time.

I've noticed some changes on the guide for 30 days of Disney. It seems they pulling the Disney Channel movies after tomorrow tonight (the 18th) I see the Simpsons again 12am-2am ET instead from Wednesday Night (the 19th) They were supposed to be doing a Freeform premiere of Minutemen , one of my favorite DCOMS. (bah) I've been watching almost each Dcom night too.

The Freeform premiere of Fantasia is still on the line up for Saturday the 22nd. "Double Teamed" (the 23rd) has been replaced by Tarzan. Fantasia 2000 is still planned for Saturday the 29th. So only the Disney Channel movie seemed to be dropped. Glad they still want to air Fantasia for the first time. I've been enjoying the Disney Channel stuff too, oh well.

If it was the ratings, I don't know, Freeform, it's the post Gordon Robertson and other CBN people slot I'm not sure what you want.


To make this clearer

• Disney Channel Original movies dropped after the 18th ; The Simpsons return to the midnight to 2am ET slot instead
• Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 are still planned to air on their planned nights of the the 22nd and 29th
• Tarzan takes the night of the 23rd instead of a DCOM
