There's a brand new American Dad at 9:30PM and once again I'm making the talkback for it.

AMERICAN DAD EPISODE 49 TALKBACK!

SYNOPSIS:
"When Francine decides to be a surrogate for her gay neighbors Terry and Greg, Stan's Republican blood boils. Although he pretends to be happy, when the baby is born, Stan kidnaps her and heads to the Nebraska boarder, where gay couples have no rights. Meanwhile Steve and Roger pull a Howard Hughes and become reclusive after they think Klaus is out to get them."

NOTE ONE: There's still a writer's strike and it includes this show, though no one cares much as they do with Family Guy or the Simpsons.

Well that's it. Enjoy everyone!

We all know this will end with Stan discovering that gays need rights like everyone else, but it will end on a weird ironic note.

Well, this doesn't sound at all preachy.

Hey wait are you sure this is airing tonight? I just saw a FOX ad saying that there's an hour of Family Guy instead.

Sorry, it's not coming on after Family Guy. Instead a Family Guy rerun will be in it's place.

Since this probably won't air until next week, I'm going to take the liberty of closing this until next week, at which point I'll bump and reopen it.

And, since it looks like it will air tonight, it's open again.

Huh... seems like FOX can't seem to decide on whether or not they're going to air this episode. Hopefully it's aired finished. Has there been any news on whether or not the Writer's Strike affects American Dad?

Well, this doesn't sound at all preachy.
Heh, do I detect a note of sarcasm?

On Vol. 2 of the DVDs, the producers promised a second Ghost of Christmas Past episode, and I really hope we get that soon, as the first is still my favorite AD. There is another new American Dad next week (barring any more switching around).

"Bowler's union strikes." LOL.

"It's not science fiction. It's REAL fiction."

I like how they brought back the water park.

Lawl.

I'm loving this episode. Now I want to engage in a rumble.

hahahahaha, Family Guy reference with "Everybody Poops".

I loved that episode so much.

"It's the rainbow truckers!!"

Pretty much. That was the biggest problem with this episode. It was on par with most of the series, but there was definitely a "been there, done that" feel.

My favorite gags were the headline gag and when Steve & Roger realized they could just put books on top of Klaus's bowl. It was smart to pair up that subplot with this A-plot because both plots required several months of time to pass.

Omigo...did Haley...di..did...did she ACTUALLY make a good point for ONCE in this entire series by not only using Stan's own logic against him but ALSO by using REASON over FEELING?! WOAH!!!!!!!!!

I gotta give credit to Haley when she deserves it.

Preachy yes, but I still enjoyed the episode.

the Claus storyline was kinda lame, though....although my dad thought it was funny that he went that psycho over a harmless little prank...though typically I do exactly the same...

I loved Claus' speeches about revenge, they were awesome.

It was preachy but we expected it so it was still fun.

"Did we miss the rumble?" "Yes." "And you wanted to go back and change your belt!" :p

Stan not wanting to realize Al is a woman :p

Oh and I loved this exchange:

Stan: "Who's going to teach you how to play football?"
Boy: "My football coach?"
Stan: "Fair enough."

:D

Figures... we get a B story all about Klaus, and he's only in like 2 scenes.

Somehow I was half expecting the lesbian couple to have an ultraright wing crackpot for a Husband instead.... I don't know why. But I like how the basic premis of the story was that Stan finally was okay with the 2 news guys being gay... provided they didn't have any rights.

Plus the way he was about to third base the sofa cushions....

To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s

Nicktoons in the US has recently aired something that no one expected: an AI generated ad for an overpriced plush toy.
Not everything from DC and Marvel comics needs to be more like the adaptations.
Woah yeah today is my Birthday!
