The last few years have seen some amazing English dubs, many that even outclass the original Japanese voices. What are your favorite english dub jobs?
Now and Then, Here and There: Kudos to CPM for putting together an awesome english voice cast for NTHT, which in my opinion was the anime of 2002. This is one of my favorite shows ever, whether its anime or live-action. Jack Taylor is pulls off Hamdo flawlessly, capturing his Hitler-like ranting and insane bi-polar moodswings perfectally. Almost every role is casted perfectally. Its one of the most professional dubs since Cowboy Bebop.
Cowboy Bebop: Nothing really can be said that hasnt been said before.
Trigun: Johnny Yong Bosch is Vash The Stampede, period. It is very hard for me to watch this show in Japanese since the english cast pulls off such an excellent job. Wolfwood, Legato, Meryl, Knives, all the voices rarely miss their mark.
Other shows worth noting because im too lazy: Big O, FLCL (I would rant on and on about how great the dub is if I saw more than the first volume, still, amazing stuff).

I like the English cast of Tenchi Muyo! (and Tenchi Universe, and the movies)....to me,they ARE the characters(though Tenchi and Ryoko's Japanese voices are good, the rest of the cast didn't impress me)...

Most of the time, though I just watch the dub version.....here are some of my other fave series....
Inu-Yasha
Fruits Basket
Yuu Yuu Hakusho
Ranma 1/2

As seen above,I like Funimation and Ocean dubs....Bang!Zoom! does some good ones, too(Magic Knight Rayearth,Chobits)...

I don't love all these animes, but love their dubs. They are very well done and almost seem like they were in English first.

Gundam Wing - Scott McNeil is DUO Maxwell. Relena was the only really bad voice in GW IMO. Some voices didn't fit certain characters, but nothing I couldn't stand while Relena was just horrible.

Inu-Yasha - The voices suit the roles very well IMO. Kirby Morrow is excellent as Miroku.

Cowboy Bebop - I may not find the show incredibly interesting, but I know a good dub when I hear it. David Lucas is the king baby!

Android Kikaider: The Animation - Once again an excellent dub. I wouldn't imagine it any other way.

Rurouni Kenshin - Fantastic for the most part. The only thing I ever hated was Kaoru's famous "Ken....shin..." moping lines when Kenshin leaves for Kyoto. Man that was awful.

Trigun - I completely agree Bosch is VASH. PERIOD.

The Big O - It's an excellent dub. The voices suit the roles and David Lucas was and always will be perfect for Roger Smith.

Oooo! I love THESE dubs!

Fruits Basket

Yu Yu Hakusho

Blue Gender

Cowboy Bebop

Kikaider: The Animation

The Big O

Furi Kuri/FLCL/Fooley Cooley

There are probably more, but those are the ones that I really, really like. ^.^

Yu Yu Hakusho and Dragonball also have great dubs.

I really like these dubs.

Cowboy Bebop - Great voices for every character. The great dubbing just makes Cowboy Bebop even better then it already is.

Berserk - The voices just sound like they fit each character and that is always a good thing.

I was a big fan of Full Metal Panic's dub. Kinda shows how far dubs have come, even without the biggest names.

Cowboy Bebop, Big O, and Gundam Wing are among my favorite dubs.

And I LOVE the job Pixa-I mean Disney (heh, yeah right) did with Spirited Away. Best dubbed Miyazaki movie yet.

Cowboy Bebop
The Big O
Trigun
Excel Saga
Now and Then, Here and There
Gundam Wing

I'll think of more.

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
