The scary thing is, at the school that I work at, I KNOW some teachers like Yukari. Good at what they do, but seriously immature, irresponsible, and badly need to grow up.
In the context of Azumanga Daioh, that's funny as hell. In the context of the real world, thank the gods that the "Nyamos" of the world outnumber the "Yukaris".
Sakaki. I guess it's because her inner girl is so at odds with her cool image--and that she has as much luck with animals as Charlie Brown has with flying kites and placekicking footballs.
I just started watching it, but I love Osaka. She's slow, spacey and weird, which in addition to being hilarious is something I can relate to. I am Osaka, except for that Japanese schoolgirl thing.
I like Tomo, too. Partly for her willingness to participate in competitions she has no chance of winning. And "I don't know the answer, either!" was priceless.
Sakaki. I love her obsession with cats and all things cute. Closely following in my fav character dept, is Chiyo. I really like the developing friendship and sisterly relationship they develop throughout the course of the series.
Actually I like almost all the characters except Tomo, (Please don't hate me ) She just rubs me the wrong way and I'd like to be like Yomi and smack her upside the head sometimes.
To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s
