Episode 23 "Scientist, All Alone" - September 18, 2025

That was amazing, the amount of resolve and ingenuity Suika needed to survive, not go insane, and replicate the formula, she did it! All thanks to the choices she made like simply taking the reading class, finding Senku and Chealsea's notes, using the leftover inventions like the motorcycle parts. How much she's grown from when we first met her in the village. Among all of them, should be interesting to see how Kohaku reacts to a much older Suika.

So for the season finale, we'll see the rest of the crew revived. But I suppose they will split up - one has to go back to Corn City and revive the rest while Senku and co. forge on to continue gather materials for the rocket. Then the question of who to revive from Xeno's camp. It would be a move to revive Xeno but effectively hold the others like Stanley hostage in stone to force him to comply and help.

Lessons passed down, over and over and over

Best episode of Season 4, if not the whole series

Yes I'm saying that about the episode that involved collecting steaming hot capybara poop

Wipe those eyes Suika, your rite of passage is finished

I'll have to 10 billion percent try that coconut milk fruit soup recipe out for myself

A world only populated by the elderly, that does sound ghoulish

Best to keep the true power of the Medusa a secret. Going even further, if they can settle things with Why-Man and revive all of humanity - destroy all the Meduas and leave the majority of mankind ignorant to them.

Just gotta count the seconds until cour 3 in 2026. :P

Ok, so yeah, about 32-37 chapters, depending on if they adapt the bonus chapters, for the final cour which would be about right for the final 12 episodes.

This part covered less than 30 chapters

Will a Dr. Stone movie be announced to finish the last 10 chapters?

Season 4, Cour 3

Alright, we're getting near the end of the series! It's kinda crazy to see how much they have progressed technologically, especially in terms of building things. And you can tell Why-man is feeling the heat, since his new message is "Do you wanna die?"

Their collective "so lame!" when Senku revealed he was making cans with the stainless steel. :D

But certainly you see he's leveling up how they store their food for the trip around the world to collect the rest of the materials but also applying it to their tools and transportation and the new city.

Nice theme, two scientists team up, one of light and one of dark - all to complete the mission to the Moon.

Heh, Suika panicking they're dunking Chrome in the vat. lol.

lol, biofuel. Even their poop. lmao, and Kiseki is already done with the "sphere" and Senku completes it just like that. iI forget if they sped run like this in the manga source material but given the amount of episodes left vs. chapters, not too surprised they sped it up from March to April to May.

lmao, Senku could barely care one and Taiju's got three with no prob. Engine prototype, check. And it's also being used for the New Perseus. Sweet.

1 team to R&D the rocket engine, 1 to restore Corn City and make more fluid, and 1 to continue collecting materials. Wow, they've really leveled up taking only a week to cross the Atlantic. Glad they kept the part with Chrome really taking it all in how rocks in the ground led to all this.

Ah yes, the crucial advancements: air conditioning and a freezer. :D

Oooo, the message is new. "Do you wanna die?" That's just spooky.

Only nitpick I guess, is still shots in the first episode of the final cour. They must be on fumes at this point of production.

"Get ten billion percent excited! Dr. Stone is back after a brief break that started in October 2025. This episode seems to jump right into the plot without recapping audiences of what happened last cour, but as a refresher, here’s what went down. Senku and friends made it to the Americas and he fights an evil scientist named Dr. Xeno. Most of humanity turns to stone and Senku makes an alliance with Dr. Xeno. Senku’s next goal is to build a rocket ship and this episode is primarily a “science episode” about material gathering rather than an “action episode,” although the ominous cliffhanger implies we may be in for an action episode. So without further ado, let’s recap this episode.

The episode begins with the newly formed alliance of Senku and Dr. Xeno foraging materials for a rocket ship. South America is filled with these natural resources which can be exploited. Our heroes also salvage the heavily damaged Perseus for materials. Senku tells Suika that they have to put chrome into the fire and she mistakes chrome for Chrome the character. Senku just invented steel in the Stone Age world. Senku then gathers waste, including fecal matter, to use as a fuel source. The steel is used to create devices that can manufacture said fuel. Senku uses explosives to shape these devices into a round form."

Cute Ryusui and Francois were only concerned about getting olives for olive oil.

Ha, they made their own coins. :D

Don't think they can wait that long to make enough biofuel...

Hmm, is the Suez Canal still there... but blocked. Bummer. Ah, just a pile up. Kohaku found that axe really fast. Time to make a bomb and test the mini rocket, lmao.

The goal of India is to find a mathematician? Intriguing.

I guess Senku and his friends wanna die

They just don't give a dam

They were just in South America; they couldn't make Avocado Oil?

Pretty good timing, the season started during the Artemis II mission

"Dr. Stone Science Future: “Fire” Episode 83 Recap"

"Last episode began with an ominous threat from the “Why Man,” but said big cliffhanger doesn’t play into the plot of this episode as our heroes kind of brush off the massive threat and acknowledge that they will have to deal with the “Why Man.” First, they have to go to space to confront him. To do that, they need to build their spaceship, dune buggy, and space suit for their spacefaring mission. The first stop on their trip is Spain, which only takes a week on the newly upgraded Perseus.

When arriving at Spain, the Kingdom of Science’s first mission is to get some olives, because olives are yummy. Also because olives are used to make olive oil. Francois creates some delicious Mediterranean dishes for the Kingdom of Science to try. Senku says that they should do some sightseeing, but the thing is that in this new stone age, all of Spain’s manmade landmarks are long gone. The Kingdom of Science uses their depetrification formula on the Spaniards. A few members know Spanish, but most of the team only speaks Japanese. Francois serves the Spaniards some delectable dishes and they say “Gracias.” Francois explains that gracias means thank you. Suddenly a bull charges at Ryusui, but he uses a red cloth to get the bull to charge at a tree."

The eternal conflict between being an mathematician and a programmer. Why not do both? Also, I love that by hand, he was able to code Dragon Quest. Now we're going to build our own computer/NES!
