Disney Ratings Thread

Either Disney XD needs an overhaul, or it'll have to be shut down.

The ratings for WOY are higher than I expected considering there was barely any talk about Monday's episodes.

You don't even know what the 6 to 11 ratings are. Also they're making more money on XD since they air commercials.

And the 2-11 group too. And sometimes 6-14.

There were around 400,000-500,000 kids watching this week's new episodes of Penn Zero and Wander (adding 100,000 adults and us from the fandom). With less than 370,000 ish kids watching Pickle and Peanuts (50,000 adults). Previously some of the kid range goes between 200,000-450,000 views within the 2-11 group (And on rare occasions, less than a million for Gravity Falls important episodes, Star Vs. And Lab Rats and Mighty Med big event episodes), but those are just my guesses.

Majority of them either don't have social media accounts and rely in their parents to voice their opinions for them (unless parents obviously concerned of the bills to pay extra for XD), or have social media and can discuss the show like the fandom outside the key demos can.

wow 600,000 is pretty damn good for Penn! I'm glad to see that the Penn bomb is going well!

In many ways, Disney needs Disney XD to exist, because look at the commercials that air between breaks. I've seen Disney Infinity 3.0, Playmation Avengers, and Frozen themed Leap Frog commercials. They are traditional commercials, but they all advertise Disney products. Disney XD is one of the most heavily utilized channels for ads whenever there is a new Marvel Cinematic Universe film coming out. In short, I see no reason why Disney XD is going away anytime soon.

If the ratings keep up like that, that whole "Penn Zero has been cancelled" rumor will have to be put on hold. The cancellation rumors remind me very strongly of the Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. one season only rumors from 2013, which ultimately turned out to be false.

Monday night did pretty well, considering that those shows are underrated (at least o adults).

There might be a good chance Wander Over Yonder's cancellation rumor would also be put on hold like Penn Zero since the Lord Dominator Arc continuation is coming soon (with The Battle Royale on Oct. 26th, plus the future episodes revealed their synopsis). Dominator in 2/3rds of Season 2 (Much more after the 3rd Part), and the Musical Episode are the highlights meant to bring buzz to hopefully prove Disney execs. that it's performing solidly with kids and us fans. It's basically a matter of wait and see if Season 2 (along with Star Vs. and Penn Zero's next Seasons) can improve from Season 1 and the more requests on merchandises (like how Gravity Falls got a lot) before making the announcement via press release.
