You mean besides Steven Universe?Like I said, CN is COMPLETELY DONE with action shows, PERIOD.

You mean besides Steven Universe?
Like I said, CN is COMPLETELY DONE with action shows, PERIOD. The very thought of ANYTHING that has to do with "action" makes the recent CN management cringe.
They've been treating it like it was an action show recently.Does Steven Universe really count as an action show? I know Ninjago and Nexo Knights do, but Steven Universe isn't really considered a flat out action show. It has about as much action as Adventure Time and Regular Show have, which is some action here and there, but is more focused on humor.

You mean the toyetic action dreck? They're definitely over with that. I could see DC animated stuff (besides TTG! and Justice League Action) taking some part in CN's programming strategy in the future, but given Turner and WB's on-again, off-again bad blood (The real reason Titans was given the heave-ho by TNT is because WB are super-jealous Turner's the biggest income generator for TWX), I'd take anything with a grain of salt.Like I said, CN is COMPLETELY DONE with action shows, PERIOD. TWX? And isn't both CN and WB under Timer Warner? What could they gain by having a squabble for whatever reason that may be (or could explain why one of WB's shows is planned for release on Disney XD)?
And I agree that action-based cartoons are a rarity these days as most seem to go with comedy, citing examples like Spongebob and TTG. Right now, for action-oriented cartoons, it seems the place to be would be in Adult Swim, provided the Samurai Jack revival is a sure success.
Summer's the big time for CN to air new episodes of its shows. There's a planned "Summer of Steven" event for SU, and presumably similar things for other shows. So in all likelihood, those will return. Now they've canceled the classic Looney Tunes AND "Tom & Jerry!" But let's hope this is just for the summer, like it has for a few years now, and that they return in September.
