You mean besides Steven Universe?

Does Steven Universe really count as an action show? I know Ninjago and Nexo Knights do, but Steven Universe isn't really considered a flat out action show. It has about as much action as Adventure Time and Regular Show have, which is some action here and there, but is more focused on humor.

Like I said, CN is COMPLETELY DONE with action shows, PERIOD. The very thought of ANYTHING that has to do with "action" makes the recent CN management cringe.

Are you still on about that? If Cartoon Network isn't satisfying your action cravings, why not look elsewhere? That's what I've been doing.

They've been treating it like it was an action show recently.

Personally, it's really hard for me to explain in a comprehensible form what the networks classify as "action shows" compared to "comedy shows"

So I won't

If only CN could do action again...

But It won't happen ever. OK back on topic now.

That would be nice, but is it that hard to find action stuff in other places? Heck, I know a ton of web animations that are wall-to-wall action. Try Hyun's Dojo, that place is full of animators who make nothing but action scenes.

Back on topic, that new schedule is not too bad. I'm glad that Adventure Time is getting some reruns even if it is at the tail end of the weekly schedule.

I will give the schedule the benefit of the doubt that at least it jumbled the programming at least, but sad to see TRID leave.

no real comment about the schedule except for the early morning hours
The Amazing World Of Gumball and We Bare Bears are two of my favorite shows so regardless of the schedule's quality it's nice to be able to watch those while I'm getting ready for school

You mean the toyetic action dreck? They're definitely over with that. I could see DC animated stuff (besides TTG! and Justice League Action) taking some part in CN's programming strategy in the future, but given Turner and WB's on-again, off-again bad blood (The real reason Titans was given the heave-ho by TNT is because WB are super-jealous Turner's the biggest income generator for TWX), I'd take anything with a grain of salt.

Wow, so Powerpuff Girls is already getting pushed back to the early afternoon slot. Didn't expect to see that happen this quickly.

I meant action in general (as soon as they announce the premiere dates of that new Ben 10 reboot and JL Action, they'll just shove it to the 6am/6:30am slot at best). Also, about that new schedule; CN will likely make last-minute changes to it.

TWX? And isn't both CN and WB under Timer Warner? What could they gain by having a squabble for whatever reason that may be (or could explain why one of WB's shows is planned for release on Disney XD)?

And I agree that action-based cartoons are a rarity these days as most seem to go with comedy, citing examples like Spongebob and TTG. Right now, for action-oriented cartoons, it seems the place to be would be in Adult Swim, provided the Samurai Jack revival is a sure success.

Yes, TW owns both CN and WB, and the latter two really are treated as separate companies.

Now they've canceled the classic Looney Tunes AND "Tom & Jerry!" But let's hope this is just for the summer, like it has for a few years now, and that they return in September.

Summer's the big time for CN to air new episodes of its shows. There's a planned "Summer of Steven" event for SU, and presumably similar things for other shows. So in all likelihood, those will return.

My family and I celebrated July 4th this year by watching the first 10 episodes of MetaJets back-to-back lol.
How are you guys planning to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 1-31-2007 next year?
And Norway's unbeaten streak over Brazil continues thanks to their 2-1 victory that led them qualified to the FIFA World Cup quarterfinals (second round, first round is the round of 16) tonight.
Those doing the pyramid burger on YouTube are doing it wrong. Let it cook until it's well done because I've seen people doing it and trying it before spitting it after realising that it's raw.
I have another theory as for why Johnny Bravo is neglected by CN nowadays. Putting aside the basic concept, it's the retools that made the show chaotic.
