That’s… certainly a surprise. It makes me wonder if CN will ever attempt a new Boomerang block. But knowing CN, they probably won’t.

Between this and marathon that aired on Boomerang earlier this month, that one guy who adores this show SO much to the point where he created a whole fan site dedicated to how much he loves it is probably at his happiest right now (seriously, he calls this show his FAVORITE Hanna Barbera TV Series and his FAVORITE Tom and Jerry version (even putting it above the original, Oscar-winning run!)).

(The man's entitled to his own opinion of course, but it's obvious that his love for it is fueled by his nostalgia of watching it as a child than any of the show's actual real merits)

with all these old shows coming back randomly, you could say that CN is sorta reverting back to how it was in the 90s or so, lots of Scooby, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry and some new stuff here and there

just without the soul

First time they've aired any original from pre-2010 outside of the Ben 10 shows and The Powerpuff Girls since May 2023 (Checkered Past is Adult Swim so I didn't count it). Then again, Flapjack's sorta felt more adjacent to the 2010s era than it did for the shows pre-2007 (even sharing staff with the later shows).

- A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (first time since 2009)
- The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo
- The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries

With all the Scooby Doo shows they're airing, wonder if they'll resort to Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue?

And if they're airing older iterations of Tom & Jerry and Scooby Doo, why aren't they doing the same for Looney Tunes?

Possibly. The New Scooby Mysteries is also a good gem I think no one saw coming.

Your guess is as good as mine about Looney Tunes. Tom & Jerry has been airing but only on Cheese Day. I'd say it's a worth a try because classic Scooby-Doo is one of the only shows that gets some of the best ratings.

There will be a Teen Titans Go! marathon on March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day). It will run from 11:30am to 4pm. The episode “Beast Boy’s St. Patrick’s Day Luck, and It’s Bad” will air three times during the marathon.

Interestingly, one of the Duck Dodgers episodes, "A Lame Duck Mind," has NEVER aired before on CN. It only aired on Boomerang after the show was burned off there.

A couple schedule updates recently:

We Bare Bears stays on the lineup on weekends only at 10am on Saturday and 1:30pm on Sunday starting Sat Apr 4th, previously the show was at the 4pm hour on weekdays throughout March (probably for Hoppers promotion) before being shifted back to Regular Show.
We Baby Bears returns replacing Totally Spies! at 9:30am on Sat Apr 4th, starting from the Atlantis Bound arc airing in reruns.
