CN Schedule Updates Part 3

Exactly why I wanted TTG! off the lineup permanently. They should've kept Clarence, Apple & Onion and Uncle Grandpa on the lineup.

It probably still isn't the number one aired show even with the change. It airs way less than it did from 2015-20. Plus, Clarence, Apple & Onion and Uncle Grandpa aren't airing new episodes anymore. Doesn't make sense to keep shows that ended over a show that still has new episodes in the can.

^I can't believe they replaced Regular Show, Apple & Onion and Uncle Grandpa with a show that ruined the original 2003 show.

Regular Show wasn't removed, it's still there.

And again, those shows aren't airing new episodes right not. Does it really make sense to keep a show that ended years ago over a show that still has at least one more season's worth of episodes left?

Classic PPG returns to the CN schedule on April 12.

That’s a big surprise! I also didn’t see Steven Universe returning, since it’s also on Discovery Family Channel. But I guess that doesn’t mean much since Baby Looney Tunes and Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries still air on Boomerang despite being on DFC.

Regular Show should've stayed on the Saturday morning schedule and Apple & Onion and Uncle Grandpa should stayed on the Sunday schedule instead of Teen Titans, Go Away!

"Teen Titans, Go Away!"? You mean Teen Titans Go!

Like I said, he’s stuck in 2017. He thinks hating on TTG is the trendy thing to do. But enough about this, let’s get back on topic here.

Neat! When was the last time CN aired it like 2005?

On Memorial Day (May 26th) there's a marathon of Total Drama Island (2023) lasting from about 7a to 1:30p. Pretty neat!:

Steven Universe is off the schedule starting next Saturday. Its 10am slot will be replaced with Tiny Toons Looniversity. For some weird reason, the episode airing next week is one that didn't air on TV yet, but the following Saturday they are airing a season 1 rerun. OG PPG will still keep airing reruns at 10:30

Looking at Cartoon network schedule, as of starting May 26, it appear Cartoonito block is ending, as TTG, Total Drama Island, Gumball, Tom & jerry, various Scooby Doo, etc... are airing in Cartoonito slots.

Cartoonito block is discontinued after May 23. Not certain if it's for summer. But it seems like it's done for now.

So Cartoon Network has been showing "The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show" for the first time in over 20 years, and they've been showing the high-definition restoration, no less!

Pretty nifty upgrade, especially for a channel still showing worn standard-definition masters of the original "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!"

Interestingly, that promo uses footage from classic PPG and classic Ben 10 (and not the reboots of either).

If they were to adapt this promo for EMEA, here's what would need to change:
  • Footage from The Powerpuff Girls (1998) and Ben 10 (2005) would need to be replaced with the 2016 reboots of both shows.
  • All Iyanu footage would need to be replaced with a different show due to legal restrictions (either Hero Inside or Totally Spies! season 7, or even additional TTG footage).
  • For MENA, Arabic and Turkey only, the Steven Universe footage would likely need to be replaced with something else (e.g. more PPG/Ben 10 reboot footage, more Adventure Time footage, more TTG footage, some Gumball footage, or even Justice League Action).

Has anyone here ever taken a tour of the Cartoon Network Studios building in Burbank, CA before it closed? I really wish I could have :(
To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s

Nicktoons in the US has recently aired something that no one expected: an AI generated ad for an overpriced plush toy.
Not everything from DC and Marvel comics needs to be more like the adaptations.
