Saturday, May 5th:

Monster House (7pm - RERUN)
- 1.538 million viewers
- 0.3 A18-49

Monday, May 7th:

Regular Show (8pm - NEW EPISODE)
- 2.539 million viewers
- 0.450 million adults 18-49 (0.4 rating)

Tuesday, May 8th:

Looney Tunes (6am - RERUN)
- 1.258 million viewers
- 0.5 A18-49

That's high for 6am, usually CN doesn't see those kind of numbers until the afternoon when Johnny Test, Regular Show, and MAD rerun.

4/30-5/6/12 vs. 5/2-5/8/11 Comparison:

KIDS 2-11

CARTOON NETWORK - 492,000 to 473,000 -4%
DISNEY CHANNEL - 849,000 to 776,000 -9%
NICKELODEON - 1,070,000 to 832,000 -22%

KIDS 6-11

CARTOON NETWORK - 299,000 to 308,000 +3%
DISNEY CHANNEL - 544,000 to 476,000 -13%
NICKELODEON - 512,000 to 412,000 -20%

TWEENS 9-14

CARTOON NETWORK - 217,000 to 250,000 +15%
DISNEY CHANNEL - 441,000 to 420,000 -5%
NICKELODEON - 385,000 to 308,000 -20%

You got to keep in mind that Cartoon Network had more premieres for May 2011 than they do this year, which is why we see very small decreases, or stable ratings with very little increases.

Regular Show continues to dominate!

I love it classic series shows us that they can still perform great, and 1.2 mil at 6am on a Tuesday? Way to go Looney Tunes.

Yeah, last year had Gumball and TLTS series premieres and what not. I think we'll see some increases in June though!

King of the Hill regularly gets 0.4 18-49 at 5:30 but 0.5 is uncommon and over a million total viewers even more so. I'm sure Looney Tunes does around that well mid-day and there is hardly any competition at 6 am but that may be proof that Looney Tunes can beat King of the Hill with 18-49 at 9 pm and Adult Swim should consider airing it then. But competition is far tougher at 9 pm so maybe not.

I think it is worth experimenting with on the weekend. KotH does the worst on Friday (and Wed because of Level Up). Run Looney Tunes in the 9 hour on Friday-Sunday on Adult Swim. Maybe even Looney Tunes & The Flintstones in that hour before American Dad on Friday, Robot Chicken on Sunday and whatever on Saturday. That would be a good way to get AS in on the 20th Anniversary as well.

Thats great idea, andrew! now I'm wondering... maybe that's already in the works? Adult Swim would be smart to celebrate the 20th anniversary, too.

Level Up is ruining ratings for AS even? Damn. They should really remove the show completely except for premieres because even though total viewers stopped being impressive, it did win some demos. Though I wonder if it can also do that without a large amount of promotion.

Probably not, when Level Up started with individual episode promos instead of general Level Up ones, it saw a boost. No CN show can handle no promotion and do fine (except Regular Show a couple of times). Remember what happned to The Looney Tunes Show back in January.

Level Up gets promoted really well even if they are general promos. Many shows don't get advertised as much and seem to do better than Level Up.

For a strange reason it seems as if when Regular Show and Adventure Time are doing their best. Level Up's doing it's worst. Normally you'd expect some at least a small amount of their viewers to carry on to Level Up. The pattern happened last summer with DWWH and DBD. There could be one reason that Level Up is not doing very well lately. Level Up usually receives a Gumball premiere lead-in. At times Gumball goes on hiatus for a week or two which may explain the up and down ratings.

Well I guess putting Ninjago there was a good idea. Good to see Young Justice doing fairly well, but it should do better, and so should all of the premieres really.

Johnny Test almost won the 7am slot, that's quite impressive! It shouldn't even be possible for a show to do so much worse than the shows around it, why is Level Up still there?

Darn it CN stop this foolish crusade and take Level Up off of Saturday morning it is a ratings black hole.

Nice to see Young Justice survive it's time skip.

1.5 is rather disappointing for ThunderCats though.

The only reason Cartoon Network is seeing decreases is because of the lack of premieres this month compared to May 2011. If Cartoon Network was consistant and kept a similar number of premieres every month every year, ratings could easily see increases. I'm just afraid all of this is going to hurt Cartoon Network this summer and officially ruin any chances of beating Nick in kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14.

Monday night:

Regular Show (8pm - NEW)
- 2.262 million viewers
- 0.583 million adults 18-49 (0.5 rating)

dang what happened.. even pokemon had a mega ratings crash...

Whoa, what happened? Everything did terrible, except for maybe Ninjago, and well Level Up didn't really do worse than usual.

Friday night overall (7-9 p.m.) earned double-digit delivery growth among all kid demos—ranging between 22% and 33%--compared to the same time period last year. A back-to-back presentation of Adventure Time (7-8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among all boys and increased delivery across the board of kid and boy demos. Programming franchise Cartoon Planet (8-9 p.m.) also grew all average kids delivery by double digits, ranging between 11% (kids 6-11), 14% (kids 2-11) and 18% (kids 9-14).

Here are the ratings from last Saturday morning:

- Thundercats - 1.755 million viewers and an 0.55 18-49

- Green Lantern - 1.675 million viewers and an 0.54 18-49

- Young Justice: Invasion - 2.037 million viewers and an 0.72 18-49

We'll have to wait until Friday to see the K6-11 numbers, but I have a feeling(at least in YJ's case) that more adults watched than kids.

WOW! Those are some damn good ratings, but hopefully Green Lantern will see a rise next week. Hope Youn Justice keeps it up!:D:D
