I will give 2 choices, the winner will go onto the next round and go against another cartoon until we find the most popular cartoon of all!
Except South Park isn't actually funny and hasn't been for years. It's just Trey Parker screaming while doing overwrought cop show and disaster movie parodies. I wouldn't even classify it as a comedy anymore. It doesn't even tell jokes. It just does nonstop horrible things and expects me to find that funny on its own. It's not and I don't.I think Family Guy v South Park thing is over done. Besides, FGs unrelated cutaway jokes cannot simply hold up to SPs well structured plots with interlinking A and B stories that would normally not have a correlation.
I don’t pay much attention to Family Guy, but I’m pretty sure Seth isn’t that involved anymore (beyond providing voices). I know he’s not the showrunner this season.I feel the exact same about Family Guy. Seth McFarlane has stretched his talent wayyy too much. Trying to juggle too many projects at once. All it has done is given us a terrible Ted sequel, a bad western parody comedy with acting feeling so unnatural, a terrible spin-off etc. Family Guy has suffered from all this, the writing seems so force, the jokes are one dimensional, and the story structure is so loose at its seams. It seems as though hes running out of episode ideas.
I strongly dislike Family Guy most weeks. I agree that it generally sucks. But I still don't hate it as much as South Park. Which should tell you something about how I feel about South Park.Family Guys jokes don't even relate to the plot at all, so if you wanna see jokes for nothing but just for the sake of making jokes, watch Family Guy
