So it seems that 2011 was an excellent year for CN Brazil. 19 of 50 spots were CN shows/movies/specials, including Dragon Ball Z, Regular Show, Batman, Ed, Edd n Eddy and more.

Wow, cool. Seems like Foreign cartoon networks are really popular! Hopefully US CN can regain some popularity. At least airing more classics is a start for us over in the 'States.

I've been wondering if Cartoon Network is more popular overseas than it is here.

Those are a lot of fun. It's not fair how the Cartoon network bumps in Latin America are more fun than the ones here.

I've been wondering if Cartoon Network is more popular overseas than it is here.

At least down here in Chile they are between the top 10 most viewed cable channels (in 3; Discovery Kids and Disney Channel are in the 1 and 2 respectively, while Disney XD and Nickelodeon are 4 and 5) yet most of the Internet crew (people that post at ANMTVLA site and on the CN Facebook page) seems to hate the current state of the channel because they don't air anime. They also criticize the lack of 'Check it' branding, the saturation of Ben 10 and are always comparing the channel to the USA version, which still has Adult Swim.

Even thought they used to air stuff like TDI 1/only season 'uncut' (the original Canadian version), since around 2010 they started to editing stuff blatantly, which is also frequently criticized, along with the Spanish dubbing which somewhat hurts the humor of the original version, although they can still be heard in English with SAP.

Are any other international CN still using Christmas/winter bumpers??? CN RSEE is and I'm sick of them cause they only use 3 or 4 blue ones. Enough already.

Also even though I think it's a little early to post the whole March schedule even though it's planned, I'll say that Regular Show finally premieres March 5th.

About time. We have TLTS, Redakai, Gumball and Beyblade: MM (the latter a month after US premiere), so it's a surprise we haven't got RS yet.

Edit: the remaining one:

I'm surprise they haven't shown the English version? I have seen the one of Gwen and Daphne really funny and funnierthat the original VA are doing the voices unless it's other VA but they really nail the voices.

Highlights:

-Ben 10 Evolution starts up. It means two double-episodes of the Ben 10 series everyday. Three including the one Alien Force has in the night!
-Ben 10: Ultimate Alien thus returns after being on hiatus.

What's Ben 10 Evolution? I thought that was the working title for Ben 10: Ultimate Alien...

I just took the Spanish videos from YouTube and the last time I saw the first Toonface promos with SAP, they weren't on English. I haven't seen the last 3 on TV yet.

That's the name of this Ben 10 block they're airings twice a day. Starting with episode 1 and 2 of the first Ben 10, and then it continues through Alien Force and Ultimate Alien until the last two episodes of Ultimate Alien so far has aired in that block, which will be sometime in April.

What channel did you find them?

Does the CNLA youtube channel still update? The Brazil one doesn't for ages.

CN Latin America greenlighted an original live action series with Televisa, set to premiere in 2012.

http://www.anmtvla.com/2012/01/cq-cartoon-network-y-televisa-y.html

I can't be so dissapointed. I mean... If CN LA turned Boomerang in a live-action teen channel why they premiere this on CN!!??

Is the most stupid CN L.A. has done, I do not know what they think but a CN Real in Latin America is and will be a terrible idea.

And I thought the censorship of "Regular Show" was a nightmare but this I do not know but I think this is too far.

To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s

Nicktoons in the US has recently aired something that no one expected: an AI generated ad for an overpriced plush toy.
Not everything from DC and Marvel comics needs to be more like the adaptations.
