Cartoon Cartoons Shorts Program

This entire project was from the WarnerMedia era, and the people who commissioned the shorts are long gone. It's something of a miracle that these shorts are being posted.
These shorts are being posted for a reason.

I find it unlikely that they would invest all that money just to not greenlight any of them.
Tell that to the number of projects that got written off during the Discovery merger era.

Not all of them. Scoob! Holiday Haunt and Batgirl come to mind. It also almost happened to Acme vs. Coyote.
Well, hopefully the upcoming merger will rearrange Cartoon Network for the better.

And now I see why these shorts were put on WBTV's YouTube Channel and not Cartoon Network's proper.
That brings me hope that they're not just dumping the shorts to get rid of them. That they actually have plans with these.

Who knows? Since the shorts were made between 2020 to 2023 and got released just by this year, then maybe.

"Duck" (completed in 2024) is very different from all the others. It might as well be Adult Swim material unlike all the other shorts, what with all the gore, profanity, flashing lights and potentially frightening moments.

And I see that Mic Graves and Tony Hull were working on this after Gumball and Elliott from Earth. Is this the reason why they didn't work on The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball (thus necessitating a total recast of Banana Joe and Anton among others)?

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
