i'm torn between this and "Hate Floats" as my favorite episode

Jonas Jr AND The Impossibles return! If Hate Floats and Ice Station Impossible didn't exist this would be my favorite episode. Oh and Sally's muscle got alot better from Season 1 to Season 2

Anyone loving how jealous Rusty gets about how much better his brother is than him? I love that he took charge. It looks like we're finally getting to see more of why Our Dr Venture is so messed up.

Can someone explain to me what they did for Johnny? I suppose they gave him the pills? I kinda missed that part...have to re-watch it.

The inquisitor guy was so hilarious. I love the aliens reaction to an ungrateful Rusty.

awesome, so many old characters, loved the Inquisitor, hope he comes back somehow. 3rd ep in a row without the Monarch though, boo, oh well the episode's awesomeness more than made up for that.

IGNORE ME!!!!!

Great episode. The Venture Bros. is the only quality show that has premiered in the last two years on AS. Alot of old characters, Jonas finally returns, Rusty goes ape on an alien, and Johnny Quest has become a dope fiend. Truely an awesome episode.

I really enjoyed this episode. I enjoy every episode but this was one of the best eps of the series imo.

This episode was a wild ride, definately in my top three. including the first season. This show has yet to dissappoint

I'm beginning to like the quicker bite of these new episodes especially with this one. Hilarious characters, great dialogue, and another great Johnny spoof. Easily one of the best of season 2 thus far.

*Holy (Drops a load in his shorts!)* IGNORE ME!

After seeing 20 Years to Midnight, I have to say this..

This show keeps getting FREAKING better!

No Seriously It does!

First off The Grand Inquistor : IGNORE ME!!!!!

Hank is feeling the Grand Inquisitor's power (Heh heh heh) and quit shining that light in Rusty's face!

Then of Course I Love it when Rusty Pays his brother (Jonas Jr.) a Visit!

The Grand Inquistor : IGNORE ME!!!!!

Cool Two X-1's! and one of htem has Space Invaders!

(ARRR THe Ghost Pirate Wannabe is back!)

The Grand Inquistor : IGNORE ME!!!!!

as are "The Impossibles!"

Holy (Drops a load in his pants): It's Jonny Quest!!! (The Dope Fiend! ROFLMAO! Doesn't he know that Brock was supposed to deliver a message to him (From Season 1: Race Bannon: Tell... Jonny... I..... *Dies*)

Oh great Dr. Venture tries to Seduce Sally Impossible on the Subway...

H.E.L.P.E.R to the resuce !!!! and here's HUGGIES!

The Grand Inquistor : IGNORE ME!!!!!

TC, I find it hard to believe that you didn't notice the red hair that Sally's baby had. ;)

By the way, besides what you mention, this episode really did rock and I love the fact that Hank and Dean completed their mission. And Jonas and the Captain really do work well together.

And even though Jonas is a bit of a player when it comes to women, he is still a good choice for Sally.

That. Was. AWESOME!

I think I can safely say that was my favorite episode thus far, even edging out the insane Escape to the House of the Mummies Part II. The only thing that kinda made me sad was Colonel Gentleman dying... though the episode was so damned funny, even that couldn't drag me down.

Best part: The Grand Inquisitor picks up baby Rocket, and

IGNORE ME!!!!!

(Part of me wants to make that a sig... two other parts say that someone else is in the process of doing that now, and that no mod in his right mind would ever let that stand, respectively)

Good Gravy! (Drops yet a Third Load...) You're not suggesting??!!!

GOOD LORD MAN?? ARE YOU SUGGESTING????!!!

No, No, No, you're really not suggesting that. (Oh dear god NO! that can't be.. Can it??!!!)

'The Curse of Skye' From Powerless in the Face of Death strikes again!!!... and if you think Jonas Jr. (J.J) is a Player.. I shudder to think.. Rusty is a Major Player, emphasis on "MAJOR" .(And you wondered what the Heck happened in Ice Station Impossible???!!! Can we say, 'Horizontal Mambo'? I knew we could!)

God God Man! That's Insane! (But alas.. I did notice the red hair...)

Can we say.. Rusty paying Child Support before the end of season 2 is out? I knew we could!

The Grand Inquisitor:

IGNORE ME!!!!!

I couldn't wait for tucsoncoyote to comment ;)
Just throwing it out there: the discovery that Jonas Sr was an alien is one of the biggest, lamest cheats ever.

I liked it...the exchange between the alien and Venture was great.

How can Rocket be Rusty's baby though? Even if he and Sally had sex (which i saw no evidence of in "Ice Station Impossible"), the urine sample that Dr. Impossible used to find out about the pregnancy she gave before she even talked to Rusty. In fact she used the urine sample as an excuse to talk to him.

I still dont understand why Rusty is so against hooking up with Sally. Yeah, when she gets emotional u can see her muscular system, but does he really think he's gonna do any better?

Other then that, the episode was awesome. This beats out "Ice Station Impossible" as my favorite episode. The continuity usage and the sci-fi/pop culture references were awesome. Im just upset Col. Gentleman passed away with so little fanfare :( .

Great episode. I wish more had been done with "Mr. Quest" (is there a character on this show who doesn't have serious issues with their father?) but that's not really a complaint. As mentioned, the High Inquisitor was the definite highlight of the episode.

...Or a pretty funny take on the ending of Contact.

The 'Lame ending wasn't as lame as you thought...

The Grand Inquisitor points his finger at the Mecca: IGNORE HIM!

Actually I think the "Jonas Sr. As an Alien bit wasn't a Lame Cheat, but rather a spoofy way for them to climax the episode. (Hey can you imagine having your father (who isn't your father) come back to kill an annoying alien a Lame Cheat? I think it was funny to see Jonas Sr then having to explain himself to the gang, (and the alien scene is funny...

So in the end, I think the 'Lame Cheat' was in fact the ultimate craziness to make this episode work..

Oh, and one final thing:

IGNORE ME!

This confused me too.

Their one attempt at sex in "Ice Station Impossible" ended when her skin vanished, and as you pointed out, the urine sample was too early.

However, given the loveless nature of the Impossibles' marriage, I found it hard to believe that the child was Dr. Impossible's.

I think the real answer lies in the Impossibles' off-camera argument in which (if I heard correctly) Dr. Impossible accused Sally of "alley-catting with every scientist that comes around."

Rocket's father may be someone else entirely.

I thought that alien guy was really cool! Always telling everyone to ignore him! :D

Then having the alien guy disguise himself as Dr. Venture's father just to kill that alien was a pretty wierd twist. Amusing too!

Dr. Impossible was pretty funny too what with his body getting overstretched and the way he responed to his wife after being asked what's more important than his family. That was great stuff!
