It's been over a year ever since this topic was first locked, so I figured by now it should be ok for me to start it up again.

Well I'll start with me, There was this forum I used to go to called Fun Piece (which was a pretty nice place btw) and I loved posting there. To the point where I would leave TZ for a while just to live it up there.

But then crap was started.

I started being called stupid, pathetic, and all this crap (which, I am but that's aside the point) because I felt insulted by a member and told him.Which I know now was a big mistake because that happened to be the most popular member on the board. So after that, pretty much all the members started hating me (There's also this long story about how I supposedly knew this said popular member was getting a sex change and was picking on her because of it, not true, and if I could take me saying she picks on me back, I would.) Except some (a lot of which post here, and I wouldn't be surprised if they shared this little post with the rest of the board, especially one of them because I did something stupid a few days ago to him that made him go to the point of hating me.) There's a lot of nice members, but considering most of them hate me, it's just not worth it to try and make everything right.

Oh and one member said she hated me because I kept spamming the spam topic Spamming the spam topic. Oh and another because I put my gender as female on accident and don't feel like changing it. Oh and some of them called me a pedophile for one of my avatars, yes that's totally a reason to call someone that.

And you know another thing, the admins are actually pretty good (but due to the lack of activity, you don't see them around that much), and that allows for lots of J!!! abuse for stupid things.

Honestly, I don't know what else to say, this place was fun at first but now has become the jerk fest I heard it was before I joined, even if I did pretty much bring it on myself. There's much more to the story that I could add on but for now, I think this is enough.

Edit : What do ya know? They did find this little topic, now everyone is confused on who I was talking about and they all are just ganging up on me again, perfect.

Anyone else have any bad forum memories?

On some Ed Edd n Eddy fansite a bunch of people were calling me stupid, retarded, etc. and telling me to delete my account. In all honesty, I don't remember how it was started, but I know for sure I wasn't being a troll or anything.

Many years ago, when I was still quite a noob, I was banned from a place called Rockman.EXE Online.

For picking a fight with the resident troll. The only reason he was off the hook was because he was real-life friends with one of the admins.

Yeah.

I recall a bad experience I had, though I have to admit it was completely my own fault. I remember waaaaaaaaaay back in the day, I used to be a major n00b. I'm talking speaking in all caps, yelling at people, not following the rules, you name it. Eventually I was banned from a forum, then whined and complained to the admins that the mod who banned me was a power hungry jerk. Needless to say, they didn't take pity on me. ^_^;;

Ah, those were the days.

I hardly go back to Rainbow Resort. I can't stand some of the crap.

Also, I made some really stupid mistakes.

And now, I don't know what to do at Nintendo NSider2 Forums, and I haven't got help at all.

Being a mod at a semipopular Golden Sun site. I got awarded modship for being behind the creation of the forum in the first place. This forum at the beginning was more like a family so the mods barely did anything in the first place.

Then it got more popular. Trolls started coming but the admin is so overly friendly that it is hard for him to ban anybody (That site got hacked about 5 times.) I got into an argument with a new user who was overly sexist. At the end other users got involved and one user said that due to me being a mod she highly regarded me and said she almost never joined due to my less pleasant activities in the past. Another user joined in and started insulting me as well. I told the admin that not only I want to resign, I want to get myself banned so I will never want to go back to that place again. It's hard to leave when you have been a part of its birth and stayed 5 years afterwards. I actually cried that night. I actually joined this forum right after to be in an internet community again. I never want to be a mod again if it makes people forget that mods are humans and not gods though it rhymes.

About the sexist troll, he got banned for showing porn to another moderator, go figure.

I've never had any terrible experiences, but I had an odd one that put me off of the forum.

I joined the Pokemon Crater forums a couple years ago, but I didn't actually post anywhere and forgot about the account for 2-3 days. When I decided to finally check out the forums, I logged in, and then I got a notice that I was IP banned until 2015. Yeah... it was odd. Either I didn't read the rules thoroughly enough (I don't remember anything about inactive accounts being banned) or there was some weird mistake.

I considered changing my IP, but I just decided to shrug it off. There were other less strict/glitchy/odd forums.

I was called "the most useless member" by someone on another forum.

That might be bad in foresight, and at the time, I saw it as a bad experience. But now, I think he was right. If anything, it was a "bad experience that later became good" in my eyes.

I have a Serebii account and there was this one event that happened shortly after I joined the forms. Someone sent a PM to me asking me a question. I didn't talk to that person on the forum. I forget the original question right now, but after I sent my reply, he wanted to know where I was and how I looked physically in detail. Well, that just scared me to my core. I never replied back and that person was eventually banned for some reason. That happened around 2005 or 2006, but it still felt really creepy.

In the 4Kids forums there was this thread saying if kids liked you at school and I said yes but some of the members didn't believe me. Then they started to say I was oblivious blah, blah, blah...

Eventually I left that thread and I haven't gone back to it and now one of those members is Banned for being mean to other members...

Good thing I left or else I could've gotten banned...

This forum I used to go on before I got myself banned had some ridiculous rules.

-You could barely link to any other sites. No other forums or sites with any sort of commenting system. They were apparently paranoid that people could post rule-breaking material, and something along the lines of "it takes away our forum traffic".

-YouTube wasn't allowed period. Even though at this point it's known about as much as Google. They even filtered the word "YouTube".

-They would only allow any sort of religious statements in sigs around the holidays. And they'd ONLY allow statements having to do with Christianity by the looks of it, maybe Judiasm too. I got the equivalent of an infraction IIRC because I had a minor thing about being Atheist in there.

-Political discussion completely banned. I don't even think we were able to talk about Obama being elected back in 08. They said it'd lead too quickly into a flame war.

-The admins could read your PMs. That just doesn't seem right.

That's all I can think of.. the forum was overall pretty harsh with its rules and made it hard to really discuss stuff. I'm glad TZ isnt like this.

The first forum I joined was some Playstation one.At first it was fine and all,but then I revived an old thread and got in trouble,It wasn't a big deal, but at the time I felt terrible and posted less and less until I never went on again.Which is why I'm so paranoid now.
I guess that's what I get for joining a 13 age required forum...at 12.

I would say this forum has me pulling my hair out by some of the comments thats posted.

Theres racist, bigoted and down right stupid comments made here.

The Russian spy thread, and comments about any other countrys except your United States anger me.

You American's need to step out from your bubble once and a while.

If by me speaking my mind upsets people so be it,but instead of a banning just remove my account, like i was never even here.

The internet was one of the biggest gifts the world recieved and its over run with scum.

If you're referring to the "blasted commie" thing, I'm pretty sure that was a joke. I mean, who says "blasted", anyway?:p

And J, for the most part I agree that it's pretty bad all that stuff happened to you. But... why didn't you change your gender thing?

Well I can't speak for him but on the internet, female users are usually treated nicer. But then it starts a cycle of "THERE ARE NO GURLS ON THE INTERWEBS" when it is discovered "she" is really a he. And then the real female users suffer as a result. Yeah my Gamefaqs days where "gurls do not exist" wasn't that pleasant either so I finally decided to block myself from going on that site and never look back.

Somewhat this, plus there's a few other members who set themselves as female but are actually male but they don't have people getting pissed off at them because of it.

I guess I don't fit in with them or something. (But again, a lot of the members are really nice so it offsets the bad things, and they don't care that I change my gender every once in a while.)

I went to 4chan once. Never again. It really is the toilet of the internet. Filled to the brim with gross fanboys , severe lack of reading comprehension, and just random porn. The complete anonymity of place brings out some the nastiest things i've ever seen in people.

Toonzone itself. While I greatly appreciate the way you treat each other, it's just a little too restricted and sheltered for my tastes. I feel like i'm going to get an infraction for saying something like hell or ass. Not to mention, some of the threads here are just flat out inane. (not calling out anyone). I guess i'm not as much of a nerdy cartoon nut as I thought.

Deviantart forums- Generally cool except for the music snobs and the neo nazis. Also, politics is a no go there.

One time, there was this forum that I went on frequently, I forget the name of it. I got banned for speaking my opinion on something, and just because the amin like something, and my opinion spoke against it, I got banned. It made me so mad. I love ToonZone, if I said I dislike a show, they don't ban me. ToonZone is a great site with news, and many of the people here are friendly. Also, the moderators here are friendly, many of them give a reminder if the thread is going off topic. Their reminders are said kindly, not in a rude way. That is why I like ToonZone and its forums.

A lot of my bad forum experiences could have been prevented with common sense. xD I was pretty nooby when I joined my first forum, but I learned, so I don't run into trouble as often, of course that doesn't stop random people on the internet from being mean, but I've learned just to forgive them.

Oh look at that. (For an argument that wasn't even that much of an argument)

I've been put on mod preview on that forum now (meaning that a mod has to approve my posts) wouldn't be too bad, if the mods were actually on a lot.

So tl;dr I've basically been banned in the nicest way possible :[, for an argument that wasn't even well...an argument. Anyways though, I guess I'm done there. I've already moved to another board (Arlong Pak ftw) and I'm having a super awesome time.

That's the end of this story.

And Norway's unbeaten streak over Brazil continues thanks to their 2-1 victory that led them qualified to the FIFA World Cup quarterfinals (second round, first round is the round of 16) tonight.
Those doing the pyramid burger on YouTube are doing it wrong. Let it cook until it's well done because I've seen people doing it and trying it before spitting it after realising that it's raw.
I have another theory as for why Johnny Bravo is neglected by CN nowadays. Putting aside the basic concept, it's the retools that made the show chaotic.
I might be the only one who cares but why is Scooby Doo basically unavailable everywhere? Netflix has only Mystery Inc and the two James Gunn movies. Tubi has What's New and Where Are You. Meanwhile HBO Max has basically nothing. I've been itching to watch the classic Scooby Doo direct to video movies lately and they're nowhere to be found outside of purchasing them on sites like YouTube.
Last night started watching a new adult animated series, a Netflix original that is basically the succesor to Big Mouth.

What is so great? Despite being a 18+ show, they actually bothered to give it a Romanian dub :ack::eek:
