might retire from coming on here permanently. i have reasons why but they're rather personal. i have a Bluesky account if anyone wants to keep in touch (and if you don't have an account you can set one up and then follow me).
been back on the east coast this week for the first time in ages. unfortunately my mom doesn't have much time left (cancer), so we came back so i could see her before it was too late.
i love finding out about obscure cartoons. latest on my watch list is the French toon "Floopaloo, Where Are You?". i love the art style and it looks fun.
on the 27th, i will be seeing one of my childhood fave country artists live, Kathy Mattea. she comes here every year just about, but i've never actually gotten to go until now. so this'll be pretty nice for me.
mentioned a few months ago that my fave VTuber (Lily Hopkins) started following my Bluesky. fast-forward to the present and we've somehow become friends over time. she actually started watching Carl the Collector and Elinor Wonders Why because of me.
i got my favorite streamer, Lily Hopkins, to watch Carl the Collector. she thinks it's awesome, and now she likes talking about it with me. she's so kind and sweet.
If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:
You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:
dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.
