  • 4) They've only seen Brother Bear (2003) and Chicken Little (2005) like once or twice. I guess it's clear which of the early 2000's films I like most.
    3) They've seen Treasure Planet and Emperor's New Groove plenty of times, how did I never show them this one? Well, they've never watched "Home on the Range" (2004) either.
    2) My kids selected that film last night to watch. I asked "Did you pick it because it's the 25th anniversary?" and they said "It is? We just figured we'd give it a try". First time they ever watched Atlantis!
    1) Yesterday was the 25th Anniversary of Disney's "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" premiering in theaters.
It's been 40 years since the Challenger Space Shuttle explosion. Defining "Gen X" (80's kid) childhood event.

I remember that day very well. I was in third grade, and came back inside from after-lunch recess, when I saw some teachers watching on a TV Peter Jennings holding and going over a model space shuttle, and some kids were saying the space shuttle blew up, and well, it spiraled from there.

Oh wow, I wasn't born at that time and I did remember about Columbia disaster in 2003 when I was in high school.

1986 was first year for millennials born in 1981 to enter the kindergarten.

I'm pretty sure I was in 3rd Grade as well. They had gathered us into the cafeteria to watch on a TV, and....I have to admit, I wasn't really paying attention to the details, until we all became aware that something had gone wrong.

I kinda thought humanity would've evolved and had achieved creating Utopia or Nirvana (or evolved into beings of light and went on to a higher plane of existence) by 1,000 years later (after Star Trek's "Picard" era).
I keep on hoping Star Wars will go 1,000 years into the past or future (anything to get away from the Skywalker/Empire saga) and all I wanted from Star Trek was for them to go 25, 50 or 75 years later after Picard passes away (like the transition from Kirk's era to Picard's era), and instead we're 1,000 years later in Star Trek, and still attached to the Skywalker era in Star Wars.
Re: Starfleet Academy: It's strange for a Star Trek show to go so far into the future (set around 1,000 years later).
So you know how Hulu is about to become a corner of Disney Plus? I'm expecting the same for HBO Max (with it going in the corner of Netflix).
Oh. Syndy Sweeney and Kaley Cuoco are NOT the same person. My bad.

Syndy Sweeney is also not the same person as Sydney Bernice Sweeney.

It helps if I can spell names correctly. I was just wondering "Who is the Sydney Sweeney person? What did she star in?" And I still can't think of anything worthwhile.

She was in a rather distasteful jeans commercial.

Going offline until further notice. David Ellison has won. I’m seeking therapy permanently rather than quitting life. Take care everyone. Once I leave the world into the void, I hope my life is better.
Is that Joan Cusack voicing Jessie in that Toy Story Papa John's commercial? If so, it sounds rough. Woundn't surprise me if it wasn't, though.
