well the book in total is a series so i will tell of only the first one. this 12 year old named artemis ii is a genius. he finds something on the web on fairies and gathers a ton of imformation and does something with the common denominator of the info and with that info he catches a fairy. holly, the fairy, is a lep officer[lower elements police] and needs to escape artemis before he exposes her to the world. it is a interisting book and you shall read it but i warn you. this is a great book and you willl want to read the whole series and have them.
