Previously on One Piece: Well, maybe Kaido will get blackout drunk and not remember that he hates Luffy.

Filler time! Because don't we all love that.

Chopper's about to fulfill his secondary role as emergency rations.

So Luffy ruining their food is now a major plot point. Oh, filler.

"Let's put it this way, pirates aren't welcome there...which is pretty self-explanatory."

Wasn't there already a filler arc where they infiltrated a Navy base?

Navy vs. Navy? Either the Straw Hats came at a bad time or a great time.

That "greenhorn" just took out half your platoon.

I love a woman in uniform.

Oh yeah, Chopper's gonna blend right in.

Oh hai Koby.

Grount? Sounds like the name of Pokemon.

Ooh, this guy also has a unique design. He may actually stand a chance.

Oops. Never mind. He's a friend.

Eww. He's getting tears all over his food.

So no one here recognizes the pirate that's worth half a billion dollars?

Bonham and Zappa? What, we're going the Jojo route and naming characters after musicians?

Does subtlety mean nothing to you people?

Oh great. That's all we need is another Sanji.

"Sorry. Someone already tried to force me to marry them. It went very poorly...for him."

These are the most incompetent Marines ever.

Guys, Luffy just took out a Warlord and you people are filler characters. You've got no chance.

Well the good news is not only is this a very short filler (we're already a 1/3rd of the way done with it) but it's the last filler for over a 100 episodes. There's a couple of very short fillers that were made to promote then upcoming movies like the Silver's mine arc but yeah OP say what you want about the anime but unlike Bleach or Naruto does not get bogged down with long filler epiosdes... drawing out episodes to stretch out the content sure but that's a whole other thing.

Yup, the G8 Arc though that was one of those arcs that Toonami technically never covered... weird how of all the big 3 shonen shows the only one AS/Toonami fully covered or at least properly premiered with the English dub was Bleach. Even if all of Naruto Shippuden was covered Disney XD technically beat them to the punch with Shippuden first and yeah OP is missing massive chunks of it's story covered.

Yeah and that's his third warlord too... you know maybe one day Oda will go over the full history of EVERYONE who has been a warlord (and before you say anything I know manga spoilers/supplementary material spoilers that's all I'm saying about that) as at least for the sake of better world building it shouldn't just be Luffy who has been the only one to take out multiple warlords like maybe some have been in place longer then others but there should be others who make a dent in the system sans Straw Hat.

OPENING: We Can! by Kishidan and Hiroshi Kitadani

The Implacable Three! A Big Chase After the Straw Hats!
Saturday 6/20 at 2:00 AM
Synopsis: The jig is up as Luffy and the others make a daring dash to avoid the furious Navy! Can they escape without having to turn to fight - and after they've had a chance to raid the cabinets for food?

This arc feels redundant with that arc Toonami skipped between Skypeia and Foxy. Oh well, just one more week.

Previously on One Piece: Invading a naval base...again.

Boy, Carrot, way to make them regret letting you go on this trip.

"It's quite simple, really."
You're a disgusting creep?

"We're gonna eat!"
That's your solution to everything, Luffy.

Good going, Bonham. Now they're gonna dock your pay for everything you damaged.

Didn't take long for Zappa to move on.

Ooh! Shock to the crotch!

Shut up, Brook. Carrot's had enough harassment for one day.

Luffy could probably just break through that wall.

And he did.

Luffy isn't being cowardly, he's being kind by sparing you a thorough butt-whooping.

Well, that's one way to lose weight.

Chopper beats Bonham!

Sorry, they're not into bigamy. Or you in even the slightest.

Nami beats...oh wait, never mind.

Tub beats Zappa.

Grount, go home. You're out of your league.

That was easy. Time to escape.

"Ignorant to the suffering you cause."
Says the agent of an oppressive government.

To be concluded next week.

The Devil's Fist! A Show Down! Luffy vs. Grount!
Saturday 6/27 at 2:00 AM
Synopsis: Grount, whose arm holds incredible power, summons his training to challenge Luffy.

Previously on One Piece: The Straw Hats beat the bad guys, so...what are we gonna do this episode?

I take it this guy didn't stay on for his passion for the job.

Rubber shields. Yeah, that'll counter a small percentage of their attacks.

Ooh, different body type Namis. Haven't seen them since Enies Lobby.

Yay! Luffy beat up an old man!

"I had a flawless record with this base and then - BOOM! - one week before retirement!"

"Well, may as well check out the giant cyclone of death while I'm here."

He's got a humongous Gossamer arm.

Hey Brook. You haven't done very much in this arc, have you?

Time to bring out the beast. Or it's arm, at least.

"What's your name, arm guy?"
"All-Hunt Grount."
"That's nice. But what's your name?"

Sorry kid, you're not the only one with a giant arm.

Stay down you Koby wannabe!

Thanks for nothing Pedro and Pekoms.

So they gonna explain how he got that arm or what was up with that cyclone? No? Okay then.

Well, that was relatively painless. Back to the stuff that actually matters next week.

At least this was only a 3 week arc instead of a 3 year arc like Dressrosa! Whole Cake Island coming next week. But no block promo for it. Unlike Enies Lobby.

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol

honestly I like to think of this as some kind of "payback" too
