Well season 2 had an episode titled "The Death of Clark Kent" but it makes more sense here considering the story they're (loosely) adapting.

well in tarot readings, people mistake the death card for death, when it really signals change, sometimes to the extreme, and new beginnings. As was pointed out with "The Death of Clark Kent" - he wasn't literally killed so once again it seems episode 5's title isn't literal either now that episode 6 indicates he's still kicking. Or the title is just Cyborg Superman's goal and we shouldn't overthink it, lol.

"Lois tries to win." "Clark tries to help." - So there's some kind of competition/contest that Lois gets invested in winning at the gala

"Jimmy's date makes a scene." "Kara cleans it up" - So does Jimmy date another Supervillain that Supergirl has to fight? Or does the date get upset that Jimmy is obviously into Kara and just wasting her time .?

Alternatively maybe it's not that literal and it's Mxy putting Clark through a Death Game .
