Cartoon Network International News Thread 27.0

Wouldn't harm them indeed but they are also trying to be too safe just in case because it's a network where also commercials air.
We Bare Bears is the most safe show they could air tbh than Gumball and TTG (those shows have a few more moments or even entire episodes not so friendly or not very suitable to kids)

dont know if this is a hot take or not but i still dont think CN WE is as "100% perfect" as some people make it out to be same with CN Africa as much as i like that feed I will (and did) admit it does have some problems
Favourite feed but I do recognise its few flaws

also its not that i dont like CN WE but i can like a feed while also recognizing it's flaws with how much praise it's getting (which seems a bit too much at times) we should also acknowledge the faults

I already talked about it's flaws but let's not act like I'm glazing the feed too much. If it's not the best feed in the world, it's very well the best feed in Europe. Things could be way worse and trust me that they had some very bad days just 5 years ago.

If we are now comparing feeds, fine. Then I can say CN Africa isn't as good as CN Japan. I think you overrate Africa too much so let's talk about who loves what too much.

At least you guys can glaze over WE,Africa and Japan as many times as you want = )))
CN CEE gets praize once or twice in a year X D

It's not a nationalistic competition anyway LOL

Nobody praises CN Italy, and I couldn't care the less, as that channel is not particularly exciting, and even if it were, I don't go feeling better because of where I was born.
I only sometimes get annoyed at people expecting an Italian channel (or any Italian product) to be stereotypically worse than it is

I mean it's not just me that "overrates" CN Africa to be fair and anyway I wasn't even comparing feeds this is not a "competition" after all as all CN feeds have there problems

Well, Italy had some good stuff!
Studio Universal launched in Italy, that gem of QOOB existed only in Italy, Blaze Italy was the one with most personality out of the three (fight me).
It isn't all good, but there's some light here and there!

I didn't said anything about that tho
Just the feed in general..if only they could bring back The Looney Tunes Show and Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated back on feed as classics would be good (at least Czechia and Bulgaria got a dub for those)

It's not a national competition but I can like a feed that is the best one in Europe. I don't like to compare but this conversation started about comparing Africa to WE which isn't fair as Africa has different strategies that work well.

I instead call CN Italy a living walking anachronism in this economy

I looked at the WarnerTV CZ schedule for July and I see only documentaries. So if CN Classics do come it then August at earliest. But more likely never. As for HBO Max, no new related dubs have been produced so far, so I do not expect Czechia to get anything - maybe just in English for now.

I don't think CN Classics will come to the channel

CN WE is the best feed in Europe, with CEE only catching up. Veeery slowly, but catching up. But Total DramaRama had no reason to come back to our feed. Hope no one will give it anymore chance so that they will remove it again soon and for good.

Speaking of TDR, they recently brought back the generic promo of it which CEE had back in February last year.

The same promo, with differences that there is the on-screen timeslot at the end, plus the Romanian voice-over isn't the same one as in the initial take (the regular announcer is now used, whereas in February they had that "alternate" voice which was used on the very first post-merger NEXT bumpers)

I'm pretty sure that Pop used to air Total DramaRama frequently until July 2025 and CBBC still airs season 1 to this day. I'm not sure if it still airs in Italy on K2 but I'm sure that SX3 in Spain stopped airing it in October 2024. And besides, the show never made it to Portugal (despite even getting the reboot there), English-speaking Africa, Cyprus (not even with subtitles unlike the original Total Drama series), Turkey or any Scandinavian country.

If some of these channels could stop airing the show permanently, then when and why doesn't CN CEE do it too? Not much people will care if it's not airing anymore, trust me

It’s hard to say they’re catching up. I’d say they’re slowly downgrading with all the Total Dramarama reruns. Also, we were lucky to see Regular Show and AT return because of their upcoming spin-off series.

Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol

honestly I like to think of this as some kind of "payback" too
But more exciting will be THIS! A new documentary about CN coming soon next year and looks like they even aknowledge Cramp Twins :ack:

Everyone applause these two characters, for soon getting their own spin-off full animated series!!! (who would have expected a series with PB and Marceline anyway? I know they have an upcoming comic book series which will go well with)

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
