Yes, you read that correctly. Images from the set of the docu-series were dropped by CN's social media accounts this morning:

I saw these images out of context and thought "is this CN's swan song?", but I didn't piece together that 2027 will actually be the 35th anniversary of the network. Feels like we were just celebrating the 30th.

Damn that's awesome, can't wait to see it. Also those images look great, I love how almost every CN original is represented there in one way or another, there are only a handful I don't see anything of (such as Generator Rex and Megas XLR but correct me if i'm wrong) but I'm sure they will get some spotlight in that documentary. I even see posters from non CN originals such as Total Drama, Cramp Twins and 2 Johnny Test posters, one being from the pilot

I was told once that Greg Miller, creator of Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?, was rejected to appear on the documentary. So yeah, it was in the works for a few months now, also, not all CN originals are going to be represented.

Seeing all the CN-related stuff in a single set warms my heart, the question is how many shows they'll talk in this docu-series? The obscure ones also count to talk here.

There is a publicity photo for The Cramp Twins (the one where Lucien and Wayne point their fingers at each other) but I don't think they're reaching out to the companies that made the international coprods, also The Cramp Twins barely aired in the USA (on Foxbox and CN around the time of the 2004 rebrand), but did not have a full run in either case.

I see Boomerang, Cramp Twins, Over The Garden Wall, Johnny Bravo, Space Ghost, Johnny Test, OK KO... and the CN HB Launch brochure. Kinda optimistic. Still, there's A LOT more that should be there. Not to mention the obscure stuff. Nice set though. But why the hell is this for Adult Swim? CN anniversary celebrated not on CN?

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the average age of a CN viewer not being a kid anymore, coupled with nostalgia and the channel aging up in the states in 2010

It's nice to see the Cramps getting some recognition. Tom Kenny and Kath Soucie worked on the show, as did the British Columbian voice talent.

1. I only see one Johnny Test poster (the one right above the Dexter's Lab poster). Where's the second one?

2. I'm so happy CN is finally acknowledging Johnny Test after over a decade of silence. That show played a significant part in CN's legacy during the late 2000s/early 2010s. It should get more credit for holding the fort down when CN was in an awful place at one point

3. Doesn't this technically mean CN could've aired Johnny Test on the channel, but just never did?

It's great that Cartoon Network is making a Documentary for its 35th anniversary as a docu-series and did anyone realize that there is a Robotboy action figure in the last right shelf below?

It's very exciting. It is also desperately needed to hear from people who were actually there given all the misinformation that is alive and well today. However I expect it will be a general positive spin focusing on all the good memories rather than touching on any of the dirty laundry. Which will be fine. You can learn about plenty of that reading the back archives on this very forum.

There's no way a documentary program is airing any earlier than primetime. So it'll be on the Adult Swim block. Talking like they are separate entities is many years out of date and never as true as people made it out to be. They extended the block earlier to take advantage around the ad laws in the US. Which is all the more necessary when Discovery kneecaps their budget.

The description says they are talking to both the creatives in Burbank and the executives and creators in Atlanta. There's been enough division in the last two decades. I'm happy to celebrate some unity for the 35th anniversary.

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol

honestly I like to think of this as some kind of "payback" too
1, 2, 3, vive l'Algérie!
But more exciting will be THIS! A new documentary about CN coming soon next year and looks like they even aknowledge Cramp Twins :ack:
