I mean, yea, Primal is great and everything. But it feels like this "type casts" (for lack of a better term) Genndy. He has shown he has a range, or a desire to show his range. But idk. This kinda feels like it could me more Primal. And I would like to see more of Genndy's range.

Logline, "After finding love in the pirate queen, Bêlit, a battle-hardened Conan defies gods, fate, and even death to save her from a dark sorcery that threatens to destroy everything."

Pretty surprising news. It has potential.

Tartakovsky did that Korgoth of Barbaria pilot decades ago but I'm guessing this Conan show will be less of a parody. Still "mature" enough though.

Well, as much I hate to admit it, I never devoutly read the Conan comics/magazines. I dived more into Heavy Metal. Though I always seen those magazines and comics, never went after them. Looking forward to the animated series, it's been about 30 years since the last conan cartoon. This time pulling from source material always a plus. I have to wonder if this will be synergy for Arnold's King Conan.

"Annecy 2026: Genndy Tartakovsky’s Conan The Barbarian Coming To Amazon Prime"

"Animation emperor Genndy Tartakovsky has announced his next big project. He’s working on an adaption of Conan The Barbarian for Cartoon Network Studios and Amazon Prime.

The idea might sound a little…redundant. After all, hasn’t Genndy essentially been doing Conan all this time with Primal? Well, as the focus of most of his recent projects proves, the man has had the Barbarian on his mind for a long time. Genndy says he came up with the concept for a CTB series as early as 2008."

I love it. Korgath. Primal. All stepping stones to get to work on the actual property they're based on? Sounds like a dream come true for Tartakovsky.

I think this is the second time Genndy has worked on a pre-established IP (Clone Wars being the first). Genndy Wars was beloved, so I think he will do well with this IP.

I don't know if you remember, he was working on a Popeye movie (around the time that Peanuts film was coming out).

Here's original depiction of Belit to the most recent magazine/comics tackled this woman and storyline. Perhaps Genndy will more than likely adapt from a little of everything.

Glad I got you to watch Stranger Things.

If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:

You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.
