The only big difference in recent years is the missing time on the promos, that's because they have been premiering episodes early in the morning with multiple repeats throughout the day. Sky now does the ad sales for the channels, so their operation has been scaled back.
At first when CN rebranded to Check It 1.0 with the new logo, I thought it was a sensible idea to put the DOG/bug in the bottom right, the U.S. branding package was designed in a way so the banner appears from the DOG, which was probably why they went down this route, Disney and Nick were the same, which was the second reason. It was weird to see the DOG moved back up the top right corner as the logo is big and bulky but I got used to it. With the DOG change, they figured out a way for the banner to appear from nowhere.
