International Nickelodeon Thread Part 17

The Dutch team has taken over any editorial tasks like new promos or bumpers for both Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. as of right now.

Nothing else yet, as it seems
Including for Nickelodeon Germany?
I've understood it correctly?

In a way or the other, they are not going to merge Nick Germany with other feeds, for obvious reasons
This might also explain why Nick DE didn't get any new promos from the SWEMEA team recently

And just like @Francisque and @Zzman said, the schedule will likely still stay separate for foreseeable time, meaning the channel(s) will just be handed over to the Dutch team

An example for a schedule difference would be the new episodes of Rock Paper Scissors, which will only air on Nicktoons in all the other countries for now

Not exactly what I meant, I should have specified how a handful of promos on Nickelodeon Germany have been made/edited by the SWEMEA team (most of the time just recycled Global ones), the same people who are/were in charge of Nickelodeon Italy, based in Madrid and Milan.

The German team is still actively making promos and bumpers for the channel

Promos for GF (Global Feeds) channels are made by the International Creative Team (based in the USA). If they are not available or haven't made a promo for an event, they take one produced by the UK or Dutch team. (inc team produced rps promo too, but netherlands decided to deliver UKish promo for gf's)

However, I haven't seen the Dutch team making any promos, only the INC and UK teams.

Probably the reason why the SWEMEA team didn't make promos is because the Netherlands has already taken over their editorial tasks in the region, or maybe they just cut the budget for them. Who knows.

iirc the SWEMEA team sometimes makes localized Nickelodeon and nick jr spain promos that air on Pluto TV or sometimes the channels themselfs during the advertising section, for promotional reasons

I noticed the past few months some promos for the global feeds feature more dialogue that is sayed in the show I guess the uk team has some influence on that

I saw the promos for Pluto TV and they look good but why they are not putting them on the main channels like nothing cost to put them.

they could do that but this is Paramount we're talking about they want to run everything as cheaply as possible keep in mind making localized promos takes time and money

i dont think so it probably is slowly getting handed over to the Dutch team if they're airing automated promos and having the same copyright Banners as the global feeds
You all already know I'm still so uneasy (and, yeah, annoying) about those filthy banners, but as I stated earlier, I wouldn't mind them if at least they were accurate.

If they really want to credit the production companies instead of providing real copyright notice, I think they should drop the "copyright" façade then.

Not that it matters at this point though, 'cause when the merger happens they'll have to sell the Nickelodeon-branded channels. That wouldn't stop these practices at all, I guess, but at least Nickelodeon LatAm might be forced back into a local administration if the LatAm market isn't supposed to be affected by the EU ruling so Paramount could keep the LatAm feed for themselves (or if it's sold to a company that has no interest on the LatAm market, let alone getting its feed in addition to the European ones), which could potentially mean the LatAm audience doesn't have to deal with this ever again.

Plus, as much as we like branding and careful to details in these forums, what matters in real life is content, not banners and so on.
The merger hasn't been even ultimated yet anyway.

And I can ensure you that with such a merger t's very likely it won't get any better for the LatAM channels, that's it

also correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the management of the Nickelodeon feeds now (for those who are confused)

Global Unlimited Global Limited France Spain Poland Latin America Netherlands Flanders and ZA are controlled by a Dutch team for the most part with some help from the International creative team in the US and also the UK team

uk and Germany have their own localized feeds with their own teams but SWEMEA team help with most of the pormos in the Germany feed and in Italy its a half localized feed (for now) with things like the editorial team now being taken over by the Dutch team

India Australia and Israel are all completely separate with there own teams but Israel does use some promos and assets from the global feeds, still localized though

More like "I'm suspicious that it could happen".

What could exactly happen? Shutting them down like in Brazil? I wouldn't really mind that either.

And Australia is not dependent on a specialized regulatory body because Nick Australia is terrestrial (Nick Israel has to abide by the CSBC, hence the abundance in live-action originals)

I actually don't care for the copyright banners and other things I just want the channel to have good schedule and that's all.

i see what Francisque was talking about with nick jr italy

if anyone remembers Nickelodeon italy also had the same problem as nick jr in may were the credit dubbing info and the copyright Banner was shown

Nickelodeon Asia is going to premiere Pinky Malinky in August I also expect Nickelodeon CEE to premiere it but I'm not 100% sure because I don't have the schedule for August. The Thundermans also will rerun on Nickelodeon Asia and they will spam it like before. I can only speculate that they are doing that because the movie that will get release this year.

I do not think Global unlimited should be referred to as "CEE" and i think Asia should be referred to now as "Global limited Asia"

Looking at Teennick's Polish schedule files at EPG VIMN site (Exactly this one: https://epg.vimn.com/teen_nick_commercial/xmltvlegal/pol/20260731.xml), I've noticed that the "Victorious" episode "Sleepover at Sikowitz's" was marked to be not broadcast in Arabic in keywords section - that's the first time I've seen this note (or similiar one) on an episode that doesn't feature LGBT content:

EDIT (14:57 CET): "A Film by Dale Squires" also carries the same notice: https://epg.vimn.com/nickelodeon_spain/xmltvlegal/spa/20260702.xml

Everyone applause these two characters, for soon getting their own spin-off full animated series!!! (who would have expected a series with PB and Marceline anyway? I know they have an upcoming comic book series which will go well with)

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
