Cartoon Network International News Thread 27.0

Classics are kid-friendly. I still don't undertand why they have to edit stuff out. CN has really become Cartoonito. I'm serious...
The old humor doesn't fit in those "modern" times unfortunately. And there were many moments and where classics could have some not friendly scenes or words

If these shows are aired relatively late, there's never a problem though. Even on streaming kids wouldn't watch classics as their first must watch show. Kids are overprotected and I feel like future shows will be like Cocomelon. Everything gets babified.

I hear kids say dumb and stupid in real life a lot. Kids learn these words early anyway. It's just that they don't want to get in trouble as they have advertisers and all.

Probably because the current team things words like "dumb" and "stupid" aren't allowed. I miss when CN in EMEA was hardcore.
I mean look at their current EU Productions and look at their older content and tell me which one you prefer

I don't like to compare the old and the new. Both eras had good and bad stuff. You had Dexter, Johnny Bravo and Courage back then but you still get some very good shows including Gumball, Regular Show: The Lost Tapes and the promising Adventure Time: Side Quests which will surely be good as always.

Do not derail the thread with drama or passive aggressive insults towards each other. This kind of atmosphere won't be tolerated and infractions will be handed out if the thread is derailed again. Please continue with on-topic discussions.

The best one being the Japanese one, I guess?

probably even WE cannot compare to it if you ask me Japan and Africa are both the best feeds WE is the second best

The local factor comes into play on CN Japan. Even though they used to be promoted as a destination for foreign cartoons.

Actually. The last peak channel for CN are Africa. Japan and probably WE . all because of honor memories and peak schedudle . Even boing spain
CN Africa continuity from 30th May:

Oh look . They're wayy too late of airing pokemon journeys final since 2023 release

I don't count Spain since it's not a CN feed. It gets the same promos and a lot of programming from CN though. But it's a good feed. At least they have the Eds.

Glad I got you to watch Stranger Things.

If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:

You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.
