International Nickelodeon Thread Part 17

Absolutely insane pull. Nickelodeon Israel last aired MLAATR in 2006 and I’m not sure if they even aired Season 3.
It’s definitely an old master because the theme song has italicized subtitles for the theme song, and a slight black drop shadow on the font.
What are the odds they post something like Mr Meaty or Daria? (Maybe Daria is out of the question considering Hot Plus aired it in 2016 and I heard it’s on HOT Comedy Central now)

meh, i dont like talking about israel channel it's an uncomfortable subject to me and i ignore them as much as possible
A random kids channel has nothing to do with the recent… stuff. It is literally so divorced from it that I find it really performative that people just… refuse to acknowledge Israeli feeds.

Trying to speak without mentioning both current world events and a historical context.

I never understood why most American cartoons on cable were still subtitled. Not all CN shows on Arutz HaYeladim were that way, the same way not all Nicktoons on Nickelodeon Israel were that way (there was a time only SpongeBob was dubbed).

is it really? I mean Nick Israel acknowledge the ongoing conflict that one time

even putting aside the conflict Nick Israel seems low quality in general

Yeah, it is a lot more nuanced and complex, and often these big companies are very compliant (in an already very tense climate), but I don't want to get political
yeah that's why I choose not to knowledge these channels in general I have no hatred towards the group of people that live there but if even the channels are acknowledging the ongoing situation then I don't feel comfortable talking about them

It seems that on the SkyShowtime channel, it doesn't matter if an episode of a series is banned almost everywhere in the world. Yesterday, the iCarly episode iLost My Mind was broadcast on the SkyShowtime 2 channel.

Are they going to air iCarly 2021 on that channel after the OG Show's series finale?

Yes, they are going to air it. However, it's worth noting that it has been broadcast before as well.

Was it in Hungarian or with subtitles?

It did, but it was never on the platform. Only Poland got a glimpse of it on Instagram.

I'm not sure if SkyShowtime 2 (which is not available in Spain) has an English audio track unlike SkyShowtime 1, which has one in the countries it broadcast in (Spain, Scandinavia, ex-Yugoslavia. Hungary, Romania and Poland).

The English track on both SkyShowtime channels are just duplicates of the first "Romanian" track. I've never caught a dubbed show having the original audio on the secondary track.

Paramount Skydance Corp. is reportedly prepared to sell some of its children's television assets to secure European Union regulatory approval for its $110 billion takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery Inc.

The European Commission is scrutinising the merger due to the significant overlap between Paramount's Nickelodeon and Warner Bros. Discovery's Cartoon Network. A combined market share exceeding 40% in any European country could trigger antitrust interventions.

Ohhhhhhhh no! What if they sell off the copyrights for some cancelled Nickelodeon shows?

As I understand it, the new owner of Nick will have to pay for the rights, but they will remain with the owner company. It's only about the channels themselves as channels.

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol

honestly I like to think of this as some kind of "payback" too
1, 2, 3, vive l'Algérie!
