"Ben 10 Reboots as a Comic Book Series via Dynamite Comics, Starting May 6th"

"Whether you go by the December 27th, 2005 “sneak peek” airing or the January 13th, 2006 “formal premiere”, Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 Franchise has been around for 20 years now. It’s also been 5 years since the franchise’s Reboot Series concluded with the TV Special that acted as its series finale, “Alien X-Tinction”, initially airing on April 11th, 2021. After half a decade of a drought, the franchise is about to experience a resurgence on May 6th. Fittingly enough for a franchise that was inspired by superhero comics, this resurgence will be manifesting in the form of a series of comic book issues produced by Dynamite Comics.

The collective creators of the franchise, Man of Action (consisting of Steven T. Seagle, Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey & Joe Kelly), will be directly involved with this upcoming entry for the franchise (just as they were with the Original Series and the Reboot Series) with Joe Casey set to write Issue 1. It’s been stated that Robert Carey will be the illustrator for Dynamite Comics’ take on Ben 10. Unlike the Reboot Series, which was aimed at a younger audience (due to executive mandates), Dynamite Comics’ take on Ben 10 will be aimed at an older audience."

It looks like Kuro the Artist of the Ink Tank and voice artist Kellen Goff managed to conduct an interview with Joe Casey (one of the members of Man of Action/one of the co-creators of the Ben 10 Franchise) shortly after the release of Issue 1 of Dynamite Comics' Ben 10 Continuity. As a heads up, the video is approximately a half-hour/30 minutes in length and includes spoilers for Issue 1 of Dynamite Comics' Ben 10 Continuity.

"10 “Ben 10” Characters That Need to Return in Dynamite’s New “Ben 10” Comics Continuity"

Ben-10-Dynamite-Comics-1.webp

"Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 Franchise has just received a resurgence earlier this month with the release of the first issue of a comic book series produced by Dynamite Comics set in a new continuity. Issue 1 already demonstrates how Dynamite Comics’ Ben 10 Continuity is adapting aspects from all the animated shows in the franchise (at this point in time) by featuring Colonel Rozum from Ultimate Alien and (what, at least, seems to be based on) Cybearg from the Reboot Series in the beginning of an adaptation of the series premiere of the Original Series. With Issue 2 set to be released next month, I thought I would share a list of characters from the franchise’s history I would like to see appear in Dynamite Comics’ Ben 10 Continuity as a way to inspire discussion as new issues are released each month. Due to its status as the franchise’s “arc number”, it seemed fitting to make this list a Top 10 List."

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
