  • What is your opinion on Klutter (Cartoon from Eek Stravaganza)

Honestly it's weaker than Thunderlizards and the Eek segments but as a standalone show, it's alright

I remember Klutter. It didn't last very long. Not among the best cartoons, but not among the worst either.

That's the best way to describe the show.

It probably didn't last long as it was just filler and was only there since Eek episodes were coming out at a sluggish pace then.
Daily fact: Alot of the shorts you see in House of Mouse were actually cropped from their original 4:3 ratio to 16:9. This means when the show premiered up until Toon Disney HD's release in April 2008, you were viewing shorts that were cropped and cropped again.
What was your first instance of being hyped for something.

For me it was the Phineas and Ferb episode "Act your Age"

Hmm... When Kix launched. I vividly remember seeing the pre-launch promos for it on Pop. I was invested into that channel since day 1

I think they were 100% wanting a new audience with Kix! they really did nail the promos back then

probably when Looney Tunes Cartoons (the Max series) was announced here in Romania, airing on Boomerang CEE (then it moved to CN)
I have actually underestimated how much stuff Wildbrain owns! I can't believe they own Gadget and the Gadgetinis. I wonder when they got back the rights outside of the US
Xilam is one of my most favourite animation studios, I enjoy alot of their cartoons from Hubert and Takako, Oggy and the Cockroaches and Zig and Sharko. Xilam is a studio that has inspired many and has created endless classics that we enjoy.

What's your most fond memory of Xilam?

I definitely remember I Lost My Body (one of the studios' unusual works) and Chip 'n Dale: Park Life (Their co-production with Disney).

Other than that, Xilam (and its predecessor, Gaumont Multimedia) used to have a Tex Avery/Ren & Stimpy-like vibe in their comedic cartoons, but not anymore. I guess that has to do with the passing of Olivier Jean-Marie.
The New Woody Woodpecker Show was just removed from Peacock... Can this show just take a break from being screwed over?
Sorry for the unfollowing after the forum's return in 2023. You were inactive for a while, and for that I started unfollowing people who were inactive for a long, long time. And now I'm back with the following. (I'm used to be called Palk Áron 2002, but changed to BlooCNBoy02 in September 2023.)
The CSC Channels prior to 2017 were actually amazing. A shame it was all thrown under the bus.

Indeed! I actually accidentally watched these channels when i was younger under the impression it was like pop...

Honestly, it's kinda sad that the music channels bounced a bunch of owners (hopefully That's TV manages to use the CSC music library in a decent way)
    Least favourite cartoon?

For me it's Poochini, I dislike the torment that Poochini goes through most of the time.

Nearly all of Sam Singer is unwatchable. People call him the Ed Wood of animation, but I disagree with that idea. Ed Wood's movies are usually ironically enjoyable. Sam Singer's cartoons are just painful to watch.

"It must have been bad when Rob Paulsen (who voiced the title character) publicly apologized for his being involved with it."

That's actually not true Goldstar. While he did say that the show was a ripoff of Spongebob and he wasn't a fan, he wasn't mad at it and did not have any problem's with Coconut Fred the character. He just got paid, met some nice people while working on it and moved on.

Ah, I see. That story must've just been an internet rumor. Still, Coconut Fred was a pretty blatant imitation of a popular show, to the point that Nickelodeon could have had grounds for legal action if CF had been a hit.
What is your most favourite channel and why?

I tend to consider the existence of the channel as a star, with the passage of Locomotion in the hands of Sony as the moment it was the brightest star and the late Animax era (the one with the other logo) the start of the end (a black hole, I guess). It nowadays lives rent free in my brain (with the ghost of Sony AXN and Sony Crime, my other beloved whose crime was... Uh, killing two channels at the same moment?).

Fox Kids/Jetix, their history is the most interesting out of any kids channels for me.
one question, how did you watched fox kids back in 2002?

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
