I've hit on this before, but I'll chime in again.
First of all, if Superman had a son, he'd be Terry's age, so it wouldn't be "sadder" for another fifty or sixty years. Second, I hate (and disagree with) the theory that Superman is some kind of immortal who outlives everyone. I agree that...
The chronological vs. airdate thing goes further than that, though. Most of us have considered introducing someone to the Timmverse, or something to that effect. But which way should we watch it, for a first time viewer? That's where the debate comes in.
Thank you, Superman. And thank you to all of those who've read this post. I can't believe y'all liked it so much.
ShadowStar: I didn't mention Max's name, but I did mention her voice actor, Cree Summer. ;) I can't leave her out completely.
I'm glad everyone has enjoyed this!
1.) Batman had no memory of doing it, which means he doesn't know the circumstance at the exact moment.
2.) Batman doesn't like to be used.
3.) Batman doesn't like guns.
4.) Batman could've found another way in that situation.
Wouldn't the fact that Gear is a kid have a lot to do with him being "super-smart," even if he doesn't know as much as the others yet? I mean, if he can come up with something 75% as good as Lex, he's already way smarter, because he's thirty years ahead of his time.
Exactly nothing. He said precisely what I thought you were saying, and it still sounds like he's arguing in defense of my opinion. Batman would not kill in cold blood (i.e. vengeance) and would not interfere with the law (unless he could prove it was wrong). How did he say anything new? He even...
First, I agree that Batman would support the death penalty if that's what the law passed. But that doesn't contradict what I'm saying, and I'm not sure why you took it as such.
If I kill a man tomorrow with a baseball bat because he comes at me with a chainsaw, I haven't comitted a crime. I'll...
If you're suggesting he'd never kill for any reason, I completely disagree. Even the examples you gave are still just examples of cold blood. Vengeance is vengeance. It may be poetic justice sometimes, but it's cold blood.
...which negates everything you just said and goes along with what I've...
My thoughts on the whole Brainiac issue:
Logically, a casual viewer would assume that either Saturn Girl was referring to "Knight Time" or he crops up again after "Destroyer."
"Twilight" and "Panic in the Sky" prove, if anything, that there could always be more Brainiac. I think his...
