If Zazzy Dawg put us all through hell for two years with this WB/Discovery merger only to go backsies on it, I'd be both ecstatic and pissed at the same time.
Elizabeth Banks' Bedrock series has been scrapped. No reason given yet, but it's probably because it was set to air on Fox, which is now owned by Disney.
Debating with a "vulgar wave" dude bro is like playing chess with a pigeon: they crap all over the board, knock down the pieces then strut around like they've won.
You guys are never gonna believe this, but Cartoon Network has about six or seven new projects in the works! If I didn't know better, I'd almost think WBD gave a crud about CN or something.
I hope I haven't been coming off as too bitter and cynical on the boards lately. I try to keep things light and positive, there just hasn't been a lot in animation of late for me to be positive about.
Samurai Jack, sure, Aquaman, fine. WB made my day yesterday by announcing that Daffy Duck is FINALLY coming to Multiversus. He should've been in the base roster. period.
Funny thing: I enjoyed Space Ghost: C2C and OG Cartoon Planet, I like Andy Merrill's Brak but I wasn't big on The Brak Show. Brak's a fun supporting player, not a lead character.
Well, Disney's Primos has apparently been delayed again with no announced release date, and of course the YT trolls are talking victory laps. I hope the show hasn't been permanently shelved; I don't want the haters to win.
It bugs me how when you say Looney Tunes, most people jump to the 50's Chuck Jones shorts as the default. I'm not trying to throw shade at Jones; he was great and the 50s LTs were great, but the 40's shorts shouldn't be overlooked; they're that much better IMO.
I want to be hyped for MeTV Toons, but it doesn't look like I'll be getting it right away, then I remember all the projects and talent WBD has screwed over and that takes the air out of the hype train.
I still feel The Casagrandes was a slipshod clone of The Loud House that didn't need to exist, but I have to admit its theme song is catchy. It's a bouncy little earworm.
First Boomerang ups their game, then MeTV Toons becomes reality, but I don't get either channel. Meanwhile, Cartoon Network and Max continue to starve under the stairs. At least Conan O'Brien Must Go is good.
If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:
You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:
dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
