Sorry, I know this has been brought up before, but just to be sure, has there been any update as to whether BTBAB Season 3 will be released by Warner Archive on Blu-ray? Thanks in advance; I've been so preoccupied that I haven't visited this forum in 10 months (or at least it feels like 10 months).

Good Point. I do hope for the day where, not just this show, but Gl: TAS, Young Justice, and the DCAU get ULTIMATE COLLECTORS EDITION Blu-ray boxsets. I honestly don't think I will live to see that day, but then again I have become more cynical thanks to my undergraduate years.

Honestly, they should make the "Mask of Matches Malone" original, unedited episode available as a bonus feature or otherwise. Its just a witty quip, nothing too outrageous. "Regular Show" (while not necessarily as family show per se) has released the original student shorts on the Blu-ray/DVD...

Technically the DCAU has been making use of Transmedia, with all their comics, video games and novels (You can look at the "Rise of Sin Tzu" novel as a possible canon). I just do hope that this movie truly stands on its own, and isn't just some piece of parallel fiction.

Without going into details, he might be alluding to certain characters whose arcs were not fully realized during the course of the games. Or, it may be a bridge of sorts between the games, that even the tie-in comics didn't explore.
