Considering AS's comedy shows bring in the most ratings, that would probably be a really bad idea.
A DVR Theater-type block for action would probably be cool, though.
I have a more complete schedule:
Weekdays
05:00 Blue Dragon
05:30 Blue Dragon
06:00 Blue Dragon
06:30 Deltora Quest
07:00 Deltora Quest
07:30 Deltora Quest
08:00 Generator Rex
08:20 Generator Rex
08:45 Star Wars: The Clone Wars
09:05 Star Wars: The Clone Wars
09:30...
AS just aired a bump showing last week's Top 3 anime ratings, with the highest show getting less than 400k viewers. Going by that, ideal numbers for Toonami should be around 600k-800k.
Considering how huge of a factor nostalgia was in bringing Toonami back, I would honestly be surprised if the three new shows weren't just classic Toonami shows.
There's been a schedule update.
There's been a few lineup changes:
Lucy, Daughter of the Devil, Xavier: Renegade Angel, and The Heart, She Holler join DVR Theater
The Eric Andre Show premieres 5/20 at 12:30
There's an interesting new lineup on Saturdays, starting 5/26...
09:00 - Comedy shows...
Personally, I think putting Annoying Orange in between RS and MAD was actually a pretty good idea. I know people really hate it, but it's already been proven that the online shorts are insanely popular. While it's not a great move creatively, it's a really shrewd idea financially and I expect it...
12:00 - Bleach (NEW) - "Episode 247"
12:30 - Dragon Ball Z - "Save the World"
01:00 - Gundam Wing - "Heero, Distracted by Defeat"
01:30 - Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki - "Z"
(Tenchi went a little past the timeslot so the times from here on out are approximate)
02:15 - Outlaw Star - "Maze of Despair"...
