I remember how DDTV used to air these exact shorts, subtitled. In history, Superman shorts in the 20th century, use to have the Paramount name and logo.
with all due respect, do you have anything even remotely insightful to add to this thread? It’s already a done deal. David Ellison will win. He will censor and ban Superman to please you know who.
Warner Bros. will die forever in a $100 billion tax write off officially purging and deleting every single classic TV show and movie that does not fit their agenda.
The EU and US and UK will approve the deal. It’s too late. Ellison won. Hate all of this.
I mean Ellison could mandate Superman to spread hateful rhetorics and messaging happening in our world under Ellison’s billionaire friends. Making sure it’s pro American the way they envision it. Making sure Americans only serve a king, a Messiah and a God.Censor and ban Superman?! I don’t think so.
Actually, Superman shorts in the 20th century, use to have the Paramount name and logo, and one of the shorts are The Arctic Giant.

Aren't those in the public domain?Censor and ban Superman?! I don’t think so.

Well, I knew about that info, as the short was uploaded on YouTube, however I was just talking about the history of Superman, and where Superman was produced before, just for reference.Aren't those in the public domain?
Well, that’s still around. I’m talking about framing Superman as an immigrant that has to be deported and framing Lex Luthor as a hero worshiping the current trends destroying our world.Well, I knew about that info, as the short was uploaded on YouTube, however I was just talking about the history of Superman, and where Superman was produced before, just for reference.
In the United States, yes.Aren't those in the public domain?
So, this is just in the US.In the United States, yes.
But in places that don't apply the rule of the shorter term to works copyrighted in the United States (e.g. Germany), the Fleischer Superman shorts are technically still copyrighted, and all of them will be until at least 70 years have passed since the death of the last surviving person directly involved with them in such a way as to be considered an author under copyright law.
The only question is just exactly who owns these shorts when it comes to jurisdictions like the aforementioned Germany. Would it be Warner Bros. Discovery (which owns Superman under DC Comics)?
I was talking with RandomMe about the short. Still, I didn’t reply to your reply yet. I’ll reply to your other reply right now.Well, that’s still around. I’m talking about framing Superman as an immigrant that has to be deported and framing Lex Luthor as a hero worshiping the current trends destroying our world.
Well, here, I know what you mean, you wanted Superman cartoons and films not to be so much patriotic under Ellison, and should be neutral and international, talking about saving the world, as making it so much patriotic, would ruin the franchise. I remember when Dexter’s Laboratory has Justice Friends’ character called Major Glory, which shows how patriotic he looks, as in Uncle Sam episode.I mean Ellison could mandate Superman to spread hateful rhetorics and messaging happening in our world under Ellison’s billionaire friends. Making sure it’s pro American the way they envision it. Making sure Americans only serve a king, a Messiah and a God.
Didn't even read this part, then:https://www.politico.com/news/2026/...0960300?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=dlvr.it
Ellison won. Trump won. Warner Bros. has died. I’m probably going to die the moment he consolidates everything. Nice knowing you all! See you in the afterlife!
Not mine. I never really enjoyed WB cartoons in my life anyways. It’s over for Looney Tunes, DC, WB Animation, everything! I’m done with HBO Max and WB under Ellison. My life is over!
Again, this is overreaction and it's not healthy to let it consume your entire life. You better respect Trump now. You can’t Criticize or say mean things to him. He’s our king and Messiah. He’s going to live forever. Too late now. Ellison won. It’s over for Looney Tunes, DC, WB Animation, everything! I’m done with HBO Max and WB under Ellison. My life is over!
I mean, the U.S.'s regional conflict was about to escalate until Iran threatened Musk's SpaceX operations in the region.imagine if David ellisons actions will be worse than elon musk's ownership of twitter/x, better file a lawsuit to David Ellison and Larry ellison so they can end up like Alex jones did & elon musk sorta did (lose anything)
If that doomsday scenario happens, Skydance will let private equity partners Redbird & Apollo, the Middle East funds, and any other financial contributors plunder the company for whatever they like.so, what's the future, if this merger a failure, what gonna happen, paramount sells Warner bros but kept the library and put it into legal issues like what happened with the Weinstein company films?
Pretty such the Melania documentary (and any potential follow-ups) was made by Amazon MGM, not Paramount or WB.Melania sequel is now in the works.
