One of the most major presentations of Winnie the Pooh following A Day For Eeyore and Welcome to Pooh Corner, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh presented for 50 episodes (2 short stories or even a singular long story) from 1988 to 1991.

Many stories like Gopher himself not in the book, and some new VAs that were used to some later Pooh projects, even having John Fielder back as Piglet, plus one more go around with Paul Winchell as Tigger and Hal Smith as Owl. Especially having Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh and even voicing Tigger for some episodes. Also voiced the silly old bear on Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue.

The show having been made available for half a decade on Disney Plus.

And yes, made this cause some episodes have been made free by Disney's YT channel Disney Kids.

Like with Goof Troop and Lilo & Stitch The Series, the first freebie was a Halloween appropriate episode:

Goof Troop has been the biggest priority, but two more videos of TNAoWtP have been uploaded:

If you feel they should upload more episodes frequently then watch, like (the video, but I'll appreciate a like) and share the links where appropriate beyond this forum. Especially ones you don't see me at.

Let's not forget "Winnie the Pooh, and Christmas Too". The true series finale for the show. I have a bunch of episodes on LaserDisc and VHS.

Bubble Trouble/Groundpiglet Day is up:

The first episode "Pooh Oughta Be in Pictures" is up:

I wish we had a complete series of the show on dvd.

I agree. I'm surprised they never released DVD box sets of the show the way they did with "DuckTales," "Gummi Bears," "Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers," etc. You'd think they would've, given Winnie the Pooh was one of Disney's top franchises for a long time! Even if the case and menu artwork use this Winnie the Pooh logo:

I still love how the HD restoration of the show came out, especially the 4:3 aspect ratio version on Disney+. (I know Disney would remaster their TV shows in both 4:3 and 16:9 versions.)

We actually never got a gummi bears complete series.

Right, but we still got ONE DVD box set, while "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" surprisingly didn't get any like that.
I also found out a few years ago, the more familiar re-recorded opening theme actually debuted with the show's premiere on ABC in September 1988! There's a home recording of when an hour-long block concluded in November 1988 with the 60-second closing credit sequence using a half-instrumental version of said theme:

The early opening theme variation using a different selection of clips (starting with Tigger and Roo trying to catch a bouncing Eeyore) was originally used when the first 13 episodes of Season 1 had a special preview run on ABC in January-April 1988, which is also where that 30-second orchestral closing theme was originally used (and would be revived for Seasons 3 and 4 on ABC and subsequent reruns). While the entire ABC run of the show was uniform with its opening theme, later Disney Channel reruns of the first 12 episodes retained that early opening sequence, but said reruns of "Honey For a Bunny/Trap as Traps Can" to "The Wishing Bear" had an unusual hybrid intro, using the ABC opening montage (starting with Pooh in bed looking at his watch) but with the early version of the theme song. This was also carried over to the HD remaster we have on Disney+. Because of this, for a long time I thought "The Wishing Bear" was the Season 1 finale, but that title actually goes to "All's Well That Ends Wishing Well," albeit in the Season 1 production cycle (the next 13 episodes that were produced for ABC's run of the show), as it ended up being held over to Season 2 on ABC, with "Party Poohper/The Old Switcheroo" (the final episodes animated by Tokyo Movie Shinsha) being the Season 1 finale on ABC and "Me and My Shadow/To Catch a Hiccup" kicking off Season 2 there. The Disney+ episode listing does indeed have "All's Well That Ends Wishing Well" as the Season 1 finale.

I wish we had a complete series of the show on dvd.
Would be nice, but in the meantime give the show some binge supports as much as you can whether it's on Plus or the episodes on YT. Give the YT video likes and share it on forums where such links are accepted. And private messages of online friends.

Does anyone know why these videos are in widescreen? Are they made wider with AI?

You are right. Yuck. Is it also cropped on Disney+?

Only one episode is, to my knowledge: "What's the Score, Pooh?/Tigger's Houseguest." Curiously, I remember when Disney+ first launched, the half-hour with "A Friend In Deed/Donkey For a Day" was also cropped into 16:9, but later on it was replaced with the 4:3 version of the remastered episode.
I'm also guessing that for "The Masked Offender/Things That Go Piglet in the Night" and "The Wishing Bear," Disney was unable to locate the original 35mm animation negatives, so they had no choice but to upscale the old broadcast video masters.
