One year ago Nintendo released a charming little puzzler called BoxBoy! for 3DS. You played as a literal box with eyes, who had the ability to spring other boxes out of itself and chain them together to get past obstacles. It’s a simple concept, with simple graphics (they could have been easily done on an NES) but it’s very addictive.

Now just when you thought you had quit the Box for good, he comes back with some stronger stuff! BoxBoxBoy! is the name of the sequel that’ll arrive on 3DS June 30. It’s packed with 120 new puzzle rooms and there’s bonus content like unlockable costumes. The Nintendo Treehouse took it for a spin at E3 this afternoon….

BoxBoxBoy! will cost a measly $4.99 on launch day. If you never played the original BoxBoy, it’s now on sale for $2.99 — and if you have a My Nintendo account it’s even cheaper. Go boxing today!
