20th Century Fox has unveiled their release date for “Deadpool 2” – June 1, 2018 — essentially giving the sequel the lead-in spot for next summer’s blockbuster movie season.
Shooting is set to begin in June 2017 with Ryan Reynolds returning in the lead role as the brazen, profanity-laden superhero and additions that include Josh Brolin as “Cable” and Zazie Beetz as the mutant mercenary “Domino”.
“Deadpool” made $783 million worldwide for Fox, putting it in the Top 40 all-time for its gross [according to Box Office Mojo].
