NBC released the first image for “Constantine”, their new pilot based on the snarky British supernatural detective/con man/magician John Constantine, who has returned from the pages of 1980s DC Comics. The pilot episode will have Matt Ryan [who voices pirate Edward Kenway on “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag”] in the lead role. Keanu Reeves played the character in a live action feature film version in 2005.
The pilot episode of “Constantine” is expected to air in Summer 2014.
