Boom! Studios has announced an exclusive first-look deal for comics based on Cartoon Network original TV series. The publishing house has already launched comics based on Adventure Time and Regular Show, with Steven Universe comics expected some time this year. The new deal between Boom! and Cartoon Network Enterprises gives Boom! the first option to license “all-new Cartoon Network original comedies for adaptation into comics and graphic novels,” although older Cartoon Network properties like the Powerpuff Girls and Samurai Jack do not seem to be included, judging by the comics being published by IDW. Boom! has also added that Regular Show #1 was the highest-selling title in their history.

Donning battle armor fashioned from spilled chemicals splashed by lightning, he becomes the Sensational Shield of Sequential Art ACE THE BATHOUND! Look, it sounds a lot better than the truth. Currently working as a financial programmer in New York City, while continuing to discover all the wonderful little surprises (and expenses) of owning your a home in the suburbs. Shares the above with a beautiful, wonderful, and incredibly understanding wife named Frances (who, thankfully, participates in most of my silly hobbies) and a large furry dog named Brownie (who, sadly, does not).
