The Hollywood Reporter covers DHX Media’s acquisition of the Nerd Corps animation studio and its library of 11,000 half-hours of kids’ content for $57 million. The acquisition will add shows like Slugterra, League of Super Evil, and Storm Hawks to DHX’s media library, and will place Nerd Corps co-founder Asaph Fipke and president Ken Faier in senior executive posts in DHX Media’s Kids and Family division. The deal is expected to close by December 24, 2014.
